just picked up the revz-fc1 (front tire) and got it for Rs.2700 with a free valve thrown in (was quoted 2800).. and a tire straight outta the oven (manufactured 44th week of 2017) Enquired about rear, was quoted Rs.3800 for the Revz-c1. Fair prices imo.
this was at an mrf exclusive tire outlet in Hyderabad. so that's the ball park figure for the mrf tires. anything over 3k/4k is a rip off.
So anybody from hyderabad wanting to pick em up, you can find them at the mrf exclusive dealer in yousufguda, near the stadium.. tell him you were referred by Sidharth (i might get a better discount the next time lol)

Bugger, finally got the tire installed on that poor thingy! Planning for a big ride, eh! What about your chain sprocket, planning it give a royal burial of sorts

Cheers!

no burial.. it was infact resurrected!! Ajay and myself went ahead and got us a pair of front sprockets from the p220 and replaced it. Now it's all back in shape and good to go for at-least another 10k km !! The front sprocket cost 140rs! This is a viable option for those who maintain their chain well.. Ajay has clocked 36k km on the stock set while i've done 30k on the stock set before just replacing the front sprocket. That annoying tik tik sound at low speeds is now gone.
More updates on the D200 thread from my end.

That's great. So, the 220's shaft spline is indeed same for the older 200s if I am not wrong. Well, this cheap mod, probably would extend your sprocket kit life even more and give it a royal burial for the most kms covered on a stock sprocket. Gosh! Let's see.

Throw in some more light as to the interchangeability of the sprockets w.r.t the current Duke models, if you have any.

Cheers!

The front on the D200 (520 pitch 14 teeth) is a direct swap from that of a P220 or a P180 UG4. The part number for the pulsars' sprocket ends with 101048 (i think DV101048) and costs approx Rs.150 MRP. The sprocket itself will have "520 - 14" stamped on it.

And the 390 has a different spline design iirc , so this will not work on the 390 even though it is also a 520 pitch (and 13T i think).

I don't think there a stock alternative for rear considering the massive rear sprocket on the ktm's .. most other bikes in this category come with sub 40T sprockets.

• KTM RC 200 2017 Tyre replacement

Hello All XBhpians,

I bought my RC 200 in April 2017 and i've ridden it 12600 kms so far. Mostly i do touring on it (around 300 kms one way). Now Tyre grip is almost shaved and will last up to 2000 kms max. Can anyone suggest me a better option which can last upto 15,000 -20,000 kms? Or i should go with the stock MRF RevZ?

Thanks

you can go with Michelin Pilot street for better grip, even i recently changed my rear tyre to Michelin, will be changing the front one too in few months.

Won't that affect performance of the bike? I mean 'Better grip = More traction = Reduced acceleration ?

Nah
I read this way Better grip =more traction=stops better in case of panic breaking=safer drive

Not Really, the performance is much better because of the confidence and as thousifkhan24 read, safety is always more important than anything else.

Hello, I bought a KTM RC 200 in august 2016 and I recently had it serviced on Jan 20th and bought it from hyd to sullurpet.
I noticed that the engine case is getting oilier everyday and the ere are black oil markings on my rear tyre rim. Someone noticed and told me the engine oil is leaking from somewhere. I'm attaching a couple of pics. Can someone please tell me what the issue is and how to resolve? And did it happen to anyone else before?

get the pulsar ug4 clutch lever.. direct fit. i use the same on my d200.
you could simply take the broken lever (assuming its only the end that is broken, and the part that goes in to the yoke is intact) and match it at a local spares shop with the pulsar lever so that you get the right part.
