It didn't break but I feel like getting them changed.

And this is my first bike so I also want to ask, if Its better to claim insurance for these kind of repairs? Especially since I'm planning to upgrade next year?

If the cost of repairs is over 10k, and you are upgrading soon then it makes sense to claim insurance. Why spend out of pocket. Renew insurance and then claim it.

yes, just renew & claim... but if the new insurance co. comes up for inspection (some do) and find that the bike is already damaged, there are chances that they won't honour it.. dude believe me... insurance companies will always find a way to dishonour claims.. just be careful.. best - renew the insurance with current vendor.. don't change the current insurance agent & do the claim..

Hey guys, my coolant overflow pipe is snapped, can I change it under my warranty?? SVC guys tell that, no warranty for broken parts, only those parts which are not working, comes under warranty! So, what shall I do.. He's saying 350/- for assembling new bottle/part and 150/- for coolant...

it should be replaced under warranty, tell them to replace it under warranty.. simple.. if they don't comply, send an email to KTM India... they will only call you & invite you to their workshop for replacement of the same..

It's a common issue that KTM somehow failed to rectify that, I got mine broken, replaced twice, broke the third time, left it there, it's an overflow pipe.. doesn't really matter if your coolant is in correct levels.. unless it's bothering you deeply, I'll say, just leave it..

Though the coolant reservoir can be ignored as AV has mentioned. Hot coolant leak from a broken nipple, can spew the coolant all over the orange frame can spoil any electronic components and what not. Secondly, hot coolant can remove and fade the orange paint of the frame over time and leave over a permanent green residue which is very hard to remove. Your best bet would be to shoot a mail to KTM and have it changed under warranty if the SVC doesn't support you in anyway, and if your bike is under warranty period. These things will and should be taken care of under warranty.

Cheers!

Brought my KTM RC200 2017 on 22nd March 2017. Absolutely in love with the bike, handling is slick, performance wise it's an absolute beast, for a 200 CC.
This 200cc bike can deliver approximately 25 bhp and with it, it's 6 speed gear box do wonders. However I wished KTM had made a bigger fuel tank for this bike. 10.2 litters of gas in a performance bike is probably a little less, if you're planning on a long ride. Over all, apart from the fuel tank capacity, the bike is lovely.

I hope this small review helps!

Ride safe!

Hey people posting after a long time,

I have to change my RC's back Tyre, the SVC guy told me the stock tyre costs around INR 5.2K including the labour, so my question is : are there any better tyres available in market for the RC 200 and for what cost ? need your suggestions.

Thanks in advance everybody.

You must have enjoyed the stretch from Mumbai to Pune. And cursed the one around sholapur.

Any pains?? How are nuts? Alright?

5200 is expensive I feel, try to get the tyre from MRF store, I think the tyre is some 4K and labour is 200 IIRC.. s1d can give more inputs, I use Michelins..
