Of-course the svc would charge more for blessing the tire
The Mrf is available for around 4k and can be bought at most mrf dealers.

You must have enjoyed the stretch from Mumbai to Pune. And cursed the one around sholapur.

Any pains?? How are nuts? Alright?
What was your FE for this ride?
Except for the Solapur to Umargaon stretch, the roads are awesome! No aches surprisingly. Balls are fine! Fuel Efficiency was around 35km/litre.

lifespan? it depends on usage & road conditions and tyre pressure and all..

well maintained tyres of michelin should give 17-20K kms easy.. I maintain a pressure of 29/29 since I always go solo..

how to maintain tyre in good condition? make sure it's free of oil when lubing the chain, just wipe out any oil on the tyres, gives good grip, the first 200-500 KMs the tyre will take to get the optimum grip, so go easy during that time, always maintain the correct tyre pressure & avoid going on rough patches of road.. avoid getting the tyres punctured.. a side wall puncture, just throw that rubber out.. that's pretty much unless folks around here have anymore inputs..

live long.. live happy.. that's the best revenge that can be served to the people who hate you..

Thanks for the advice, i can follow everything, except for the rough patches, there's no road in Bangalore without patches/holes/cuts and what not...

I've not got a single puncture *touch wood* on the Michelin, I ride daily on some of the worst roads in Bengaluru. It's been 12000kms and the tyre looks good for another 12000kms.

I am using Michelin for the second time. The first rear tyre lasted for close to 30k km. The tyre had been through crazy off-road sessions and loads of knee-down action as well. Never disappointed. Just be a little careful on wet roads.

Adding to it. Always maintain correct tire pressure, too low or too high can cause excessive uneven wear. After all tires are meant to run on surfaces, don't worry about the crater on Bangalore roads. Just focus on your riding skills, ride slow and steady, you'll increase the life of every single component on your motorcycle, not only your tires.

                              Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                              The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                              THE END

I always go smooth on the uneven surface roads.

Between, i found 3 nails inside my previous MRF tyre...
