Glad to see it replaced under warranty. And it isn't quality issue per se, but it's the high intensity, low frequency vibes that are causing them to snap off. I've had the opportunity to check both this and the Ninja's in fact both these coolant containers are no less different. The proximity to which they are held near the frame in fact makes them vibrate so much so the cantilever outlet pipe just snaps. Design flaw, not quality.

And if I reckon even somebody earlier had this issue, I guess in this thread.

            Cheers!

that's how the flasher/pass switch is supposed to work! it lets you momentarily 'flash' the high beam but if you are already on high beam it does nothing.
why would you ride continuously on high beam especially in area's where you find the need to use the pass switch (i assume you want to flash at on coming traffic).
ride on low beam and use the pass switch when necessary.. high beam maybe on deserted roads, and you can always toggle from high beam to the low beam using the toggle switch.
try to follow/pay attention to the tail lights of the vehicle in front of you and avoid looking directly at the head lamps of oncoming vehicles. we have a involuntary reflex/reaction where we tend to stare at the oncoming lights... just try to focus a part of your vision towards the left edge of the road, that way you stay on the road and not run off and the tail lights of the vehicle in front you will help you stay on track and slow down as necessary.
and of course you can rig up some extra fancy lights and a switch and light up the universe.. but i wouldn't advice this considering the inconvenience to others

Hello everyone I am from Bangalore. I own an RC200. I want to install a mobile mount on my bike. But as it's an rc it has a clip on so there is no mount which is compatible for my bike at least I haven't found it yet. But I dd see a person who had it installed on his rc near basavanagudi. But I couldn't catch up to him as I was on my access 125. So any help would be appreciated thanks. 😊

Hi guys I have a problem with my brakes. Initially the front brake started making a screeching noise. Gradually I could hear a similar sound from the rear brake too. So I was worried and took it to the service center and the guy said it's nothing to worry about. He just opened up the brake unit and brushed the pads clean. However after this again the front brake started making a screeching noise albeit at a lower sound level immediately after I took it out of the service centre. Could anyone tell me what might the problem be?

I to face the problem and sometimes I do think it would be nice if the flasher did work even when on high beam, the reason being when riding at night most of Indian highways have no lights and when you are cruising at 90 at pitch black dark roads you need all the light possible as a people crossing the road or a animal and even a small stone or boulder can have huge consequences specially for motorcycle.

So the only thing that can be done is use the high-low beam toggle switch and use it in case you need to signal a vehicle in front of you. But from my experience most of the cars and even trucks give way when they see a vehicle approaching using high beam.

So I was just wondering if any of you guys installed an aftermarket exhaust or changed your air filter from stock to K&N? If yes, did you reset the ECU? Am still an amateur and new to biking so wanna know a few things rather than messing around with my bike[emoji1]
Any kind of information about this is much appreciated..! Thanks a ton fellas!
forget how early or late it is to put performance mods.. Just imagine redlining your stock bike all day long for months & years to come, having fun doing so and not worrying about your engine, you have ample power to play with.. in peace. And then on the other hand, putting in a sasta Free Flow Exhaust, & unnecessary K&N filter, and then watching your engine degrade overtime, lose power, start having issues like engine oil consumption, leakage, is it worth it ? Nope.
Trust me, these street bikes, R15, RC, NS/RS are best ridden in stock conditions. Even if you feel the urge to put an exhaust on your RS, simply avoid K&N and ECU remaps (given it's available for RS). It'll do more harm than good.
Just saying, I've thrashed 200NS' running on FFE and K&N filters in drag and speedruns with my stock 3 year old NS. Your RS has the same engine. stock is best and balanced.

No, i don't use high beam when there is oncoming traffic i am talking about riding in dark on a highway, i sometimes ride on a stretch which has no street lights so i need to switch to high beam, given that this is india and a person or animal would cross the street in the middle of nowhere i would like to see as far as possible. But i guess if there is no other option i would have to switch to low before flashing high beam.

Today i got rear ended by an idiot driving a cab, I was stopped (for about 15seconds) at a signal minding my own business and out of nowhere a cab rear ends me.
I was furious, I got down and gave him a piece of my mind and he kept apologizing and i let him go as i was getting late for my final exam, Thankfully it wasn't a powerful impact and it didn't cause any damage but it was a little alarming tbh as i was wondering what would've happened if the guy was speeding. This is one of my worst fears when riding a motorcycle.

if you are riding on a dark stretch, keep your speed down to 60kmph (not like someone mentioned earlier zipping at 90) and if you are on the high beam and find the need to 'flash' (i mean the lights) just use the high/low toggle switch to toggle to low. this is not an issue or inconvenience at all.
