I mean was it painful with that leaning forward riding position !!! Whenever i see the R15 i always feel i should go with it as when i took test ride of both i found it really easy to drive in traffic compared to RC. again the rides were short

Dude, I own an R15 and when I sat on the RC, The first thing I felt was the wider handlebars which felt more comfortable. But note that the seating posture is much aggressive than the R15, Hence you might feel a bit of stress on the palms. I've been with my R15 for almost a year and I'm used to it and now if I get an RC, I'll be pretty much happy to live with it. What I'm saying is that you will eventually get used to the posture and all other things. I'd suggest you to take the RC200 if you're gonna do much in the city. Anyway its you who has to decide. I have already booked RC200 in last week of September and awaiting delivery of the same.

I was only confused about the riding posture and my brother told me the same that you will get use to it.

My daily riding will be 40km to and from office. I was using car from last
3 years. But from last 1 months using dio to get use to bikes again.

The best way to ride such bikes is to hold the tank with your thies and support the body with your lower back. This would lower the pressure on the hands. It would take some time to get used to.

As rightly pointed out, the idea is to grip the tank with thighs and using the lower body for support instead of arms. This did not come naturally to me as I rode proper commuters all my life and hence the initial days were really painful.

imo far better idea is to keep on adjusting and stretching and twisting your body (hands, wrists, back) a little bit every now and again when riding these kind of bikes. in traffic/city conditions, gripping the tank with thighs and using lower part of body for support wont work simply because in traffic you constantly have to brake and swerve and maneuver the bike at low speeds (and it is indeed at low speeds that the bike's weight will be felt) and to do all that efficiently it will always be your hands doing the job under substantial stress whether you use your lower body or not...as a result upper body will pain a lot anyway and the only well experimented solution to that that i can say from riding R15v2 for (only!) 16 months is to keep on adjusting and stretching your body and posture a little bit once every few minutes...

using 'lower part of body for support' idea is for traffic-less conditions (and hence higher speeds) in general when there's not a lot of frequent braking or swerving or maneuvering of any kind to be done, it will never feel natural and efficiently manageable in city/traffic conditions or on broken roads because of the reasons said above...making a habit of stretching and adjusting your body/posture a bit while riding doesnt even take any time to get used to, and at least by doing that frequently i have ridden R15v2 through city+highway+broken roads+cornering+lots of hard braking+etc non-stop and fast for 2.5 hours many many times with essentially negligible pain anywhere :-)...hence why i keep on recommending this strategy..i hardly even bother about supporting from lower body, soon enough the thighs and arse start paining and anyway like i said it doesnt make me feel much in *efficient* control and in "one" with the bike at traffic conditions...

and in any case, whether you use the lower body much or upper body or stretch or not, one must try to keep their hands un-straight (slightly bent and more in line with the horizontal) and un-tight/tension-free as much as possible when riding these kind of aggressively postured bikes...and that is pretty easy to make a habit of, i guess...

Went for a 32 kms ride today morning.. and this is what she gave me..



Body damages:

Palms as usual.. thanks for the advise .. I tried to hold on to the tank with my knees.. eased the pressure on my palm a bit..

Back took some stress..

The ride:

Almost an hour.. Mostly light traffic.. constant speed.. and some medium to slightly hard traffic.. never did she used the radiator fan.. the fan was used only at station stop and go traffic and low speeds only..

Maybe she is mocking like "that's it..? That's all you got..? Piece of cake.. it's getting clumsy and lets get outta here.."


Route for locals:

Started from sec-bad.. went till jubliee check post.. while returning took a right at begumpey and took the minister road.. via sindhi colony went to paradise.. then right to patny and clock tower.. took a right.. the station.. then straight till tarnaka and back home..

The red one is an auxiliary wire for the auto locking feature available as power part and other small accessories, there should be two more in other locations on the bike.
The greenish one that's covered with a rubber cap, that's for connecting the fi diagnostic tool.

The worst possible quality of aluminium was used in the tools kit.. Also the First Aid Kit has pretty low quality stuff.. WTF Bajaj!??!
