Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Yes , its difficult to drive in traffic due to the heavy front end weight of the fairing assembly, NS 200 itself has a heavy front , but this takes it even further.Originally posted by Slava View PostWhy RC200 have so tight steering wheel? Difficult to drive in traffic. Is it normal?
Also guys Sold my bike recently, the problems with starting in traffic did not go away, everyday I get stuck in traffic signal stops.
Luckily got a good buyer ,sold for a minimal 20K loss after 1 year of owing, never got used to the heavy nature of this bike, Am relieved now, the 1.7L spent got recovered.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
I think its not because your steering is tight, in rc 200 your lean angle is too much on handles, and that puts most of your body weight on front wheel. I had same kind of feeling that handle is stiff. I had low clipons on my 2014 karizma which are factory fitted same as r15 style clipons. Then i removed them and put first generation zmr clipons which are tall. Due to high clipons now i sit in straight position and first time when i ride my bike i realised that front end is very light. You dnt notice this thing in high speed but its very obvious in traffics. I hope you got my point. If you are not very much race focused then you can definately try putting duke 200 handlebar on rc200. You can search on youtube. If you do this midification you will ride very comfortably and no backpains, and traffic wont be much problems.Originally posted by Slava View PostWhy RC200 have so tight steering wheel? Re: pulsar rs 200 throttle problem
Clean the throttle body fully and check it.Originally posted by robert irom View Posti have a bajaj pulsar rs 200 bought on dec 2015. i have an issue with the bike. the bike starts on a click but when i start and put it on 1st gear and try to accelerate to get the bike moving and slowly release the clutch the rpm needle goes down to 1000rpm and feels like there is no power to get moving and again when it slightly rev the bike returns to normal. sometimes when i try to accelerate the bike the bike feels heavy and after 2,3 secs the bikes goes freely.after some googling i have changed airfilter, fuelfilter, sparkplugs and have even tried injector cleaner additives 2 times but of no use. i ask bajaj service centre mechanic but no knowledge about it as they are no good. 15000kms on the odometer. serviced at every 3000kms. i cannot drive in traffic as it is a problem

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Sorry I can't provide you with the bills and invoices. But I hope my experience with both of these bikes will surely help you.Originally posted by @sharath View PostCan anyone share the service bills here for the free service as well as the paid service?
2017 owners....
Also want to know the basic spare part prices like the oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, chain sprocket kit, cone set kit, front brake pads, rear brake pads, clutch cable, etc
I would feel thankful if you can provide the exact invoice prices from Bajaj
Planning to get a dominar or the rs200. So want to know the free service bill cost and what would be paid service situation too.
Heard about vibrations, coolant mixing with engine oil and engine seizing issue, battery failure issue, Speedo malfunction issue, electrical failure and bike stalling issues.
Whats your talk about these issues?
Again heard mostly from pre 2017 rs200 owners
Don't know whether all these are still prevailing with the 2017 RS 200 also.
First things first, dominar and rs are very very different bikes. One is a sports tourer and other is a street racer. Then the engines are very different as well. Although both sourced from KTM but provide very different experiences. Dominar has a strong midrange with linear power delivery. It's quite heavy, torquey and a bit tough to manage in b2b traffic. It excels in highway cruising. Rs is a more thrilling bike. Punchy top end, agile body and great handling means its a fun street bike. It's not a bad highway cruiser but not as good as the dominar. Also being a smaller displacement engine, it has decent fuel economy too. Both are pocket friendly in their segments but do have a certain amount of niggles and issues but that comes with the Bajaj badge. In return you get very easy availability of spares and cheaper maintenance.
Choose according to your needs. If you already have a bike/scooter for running daily errands then get the dominar for highways. If you want to satisfy the the need for thrill in you, get the rs. If you want to strike a great balance between the two, get the fz25.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
RS is fuel injected. Closed loop injected engines have a deeper sound and hence have the silencer to reduce the noise and provide some back pressure.Originally posted by yasirfz16 View PostThen why there is a different and better exhaust note in RS and not in NS?

Re: Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 Owners Review and Experience
Search RS 200 Parts Catalog in Google. Click first link that pops up. It's the official catalog from BajajOriginally posted by abbysodhi View PostHi All,
Need urgent assistance. My RS 200 (Manufacturing: Oct 2015) was sitting idle for last 2 months and couple of days back I tried starting the same and couldn't get it fired up. Tried with a new battery, no go.
Got the same checked up from the mechanic and it was identified that the fuel pump (connected to the bottom of fuel tank) has stopped working. After few trouble shooting steps the motor started to work but it did not throw the fuel through the nozzle. That part is not available at workshop or local part retailer.
Can someone guide me on the same and also share the parts catalogue for RS 200 (BS 3).
Regards,
