    1. Is the finishing in fairings way more better than the older versions? Did you feel any vibrations in fairings. I did test ride the bike I didn't feel any but just want to know if it vibrates after some time or not.

    2. Is it difficult to clean the bike since the fairing has more details and textures? And does dirt get accumulated in them?

Please let me know your responses bros.
I am planning to book the bike real quick just want to confirm on these.
How many days will it take to get the bike after booking.I live in Chennai.

    Thank you.
    1. I think the quality and finish of the fairing has definitely improved as compared to the older version. Mine was the first batch and frankly, I am not that bothered with fairing vibes. After 30,000 km on the odometer, the vibrations have definitely increased. But as I said, not something that would break the deal for me. Having said that, every faired bike will have vibes and those will increase with time. Lastly, you can always use the double side tape between panel gaps to reduce the vibes to a great extent!

    2. YES! The front fairing is difficult to clean if you use a cloth. If you use a pressure pipe, no. But again, not a deal breaker. I take pleasure in cleaning the bike myself and make sure every nook and corner is dust free. Apart from the front fairing, not difficult to clean the bike at all.

Make sure that you take a good long test drive before buying the bike. I would be more concerned about the weight and the comfort level of the bike, if I were in your place.

Best of luck for your purchase and many happy miles ahead!

    I quickly answer your questions

1.yes fit n finish is good.completed 1035kms I don't fin. any fairing rattles.vibration is there between 4.5k to 5K in 6th gear or 61 to 70kmph(its very little you don't even need to consider it).
2.eas y to clean .for textures just use a smooth brush if just not sa tisfied with cloth.its not a deal breaker.Dust will accumulate on every bike you buy india whether it is splendor or hayubasa.

Keep the fuel above 2points always else you feel little struggle in acceleration.
First 100kms engine feels over heat, first 500kms engine feels little harsh.but after first service the beast will surprise you.
Gear shifts are smooth. As I'm from Hyderabad you can get it same day or within 2days.just go with it man.save some money for good helmet, gloves and jacket too.

Go ahead friend!she is waiting for you in showroom.

If you are into track riding or dirt riding, you might need to change to a different tyre though.

PS: My set of tyres lasted close to 27,000 kms

Stock tyres are all rounders and gives better grip.My suggestion is to stick with them,If not you can go with michelin pilot street(not sport),pirelli sport demon &MRF masseter for rear.Stock front tyre gives more than enough grip,if you want chewingum-to-Chappal like grip for front tyre go for pirelli and michelin(Puncture prone).

I am more worried about the reduced height. There doesn’t seem to be any leakage from the forks and the SVC guys gave a thumbs up to the suspension as well. So my guess was a bent frame.
I couldn’t see Any bends in the swing arm with the naked eye. It was one of the first things that I inspected though. The guys at the SVC at my hometown said to change it straight away without even inspecting. From some local repairing shops, they said that swingarm can only be bent in case of a large Impact!
Would agree with the statement that swingarm can only be bent in case of a large Impact. It is usually very sturdy. Take a look at pivoting points as any deformity would be visible there.

Also, compare with other RS200s regarding seat height. There might as well not be a significant change!

Get it checked in SVC -Repair if minor else replace. (Last time i checked both rims were costing total 6800)
Also, Check if Chain adjusters on Swingarm from both Sides is at same mark- Can cause Alignment issue.

Frame & Swingarm quite stiff components-Not easy to bend- Although u can just spec Swing-arm for any bends.
For reduced height- Spec rear Suspension for Oil leaks -get it checked in SVC.

With time, the tyres would lose pressure very quickly with no sign of a puncture . Probably leakage from the bends?
They lose pressure only when I ride. No air escapes if the bike is not ridden, even for a week.

And, also the bike feels a little weird to ride. It doesn’t feel the same, feels that the pillion seat and the tail is lowered by about 2-3 inches.
Sometimes, i get a feeling of an out of alignment tyre as well.
Is it the rear suspension? Bent frame? Swingarm? Any leads would help. I can get them checked one by one.

As my bike is new I didn't cleaned my bike yet.But for my old bike CB dazzler I have lots of experience. I used to wash the bike for once every month, apply wax polish once and wipe the dirt with cloth almost every 2 to 3days.For monsoon u better leave your bike untouched if don't commute everyday like me.bcz its pain in the @$$ to clean it.

As you said "white will easily get dirty"?so does black too.the thing is,now onwards you need to give special care for your bike that inclueds everything.
My Balerion(Name of a dragon from game of thrones) completed 300Kms on odo didn't find any rattle noise at 50-60kmph.As the bike is new i never revved it post 5.5KRPM.

For teflon coating i'm still skeptical about it. somebody will enlighten both of us here.
for fiber parts with paint ,use microfiber cloth.for remaining parts you can use normal ones.Rubbing the paint body daily with normal cloth will damage it in micro level,by the days goes on it will loose the shiny part.
Go for it man, outside you can get attention whereever you go,inside you can feel the 24.2bhp between your legs right from the first throttle "vroom vrooommm ".
Check the PDI before delivery and for more information refer PDI thread.
    Cheers!

Teflon coating is a three layered application. This was told to me by Yamaha ASS guy when I went to test ride FZ25. I too was keen on RS200 but that's a discussion for another thread.
So Teflon coating is not what these guys offer in the same name. It's a coarse material they use and I am not a fan of it. Never got any of my bikes have that coating and always relied on good polishes/waxes.
