As a general rule I warm up the engine for at least 3 minutes in hot weather, and 5 minutes in cold weather. A good way to know if the engine is warm is to give a small blip of throttle and if the revs come back down smoothly, it's warm and ready to go, if it revs down slowly then it's still cold, give it a minute. Cheers.

One to two mins is a good idle thumb rule. If your engine is hasn't started for more than two days, allowing the engine to idle for one to two mins, is a good idea before starting to ride the motorcycle.

    Cheers!

my vehicle problem is different as compared to yours, in yours the ecu detected fault since the engine light came on, visit svc and check the diagnostics again, itll show you the error code.
