I apply front and rear brake in ratio of 90/10.
Luckily never had a feeling wish there was ABS.

But it will good to have steel braded lines.
Galfer and spiegler are best ones and they do give good feedback with stock brake pads.

66k ? do you really use rear brake ? man, that's freaking unbelievable mileage you got there on those pads.

Last weekend had to take bike for some detailed servicing.

Changed rear brake pads after 66k kms(and that is one of the reasons I like stock parts on R3 more)
Changed oil filter.
Coneset and tstem greasing.
General service done.
Got valve clearance done.
Shims are on verge of changing but still in permissible size.

One good change after this servicing:
I was having jerks in 2k -5k rpm and bike used to feel like jammed until 5k and then used to run good after that. After valve clearance it's perfectly fine.
Even there was mileage drop from quite sometime and now it is fine I am getting 21-22kmpl now in city.
Earlier it dropped to 17kmpl.
Congrats on new bike.
It won't disappoint you, even tyres are better now.
Glad that my servicing updates help you.
Follow the manual but don't be too orthodox with it.
And do practice a good run-in.
Don't think about restricting rpm till 1000kms or 1600kms. A good run can last even to 3k to 5k kms.

Thanks for details @saquib3005. I have been keen follower of your maintenance schedule details.

After following this thread for over 2 years, I have finally taken the plunge and bought the R3!
The delivery is expected soon once the RTO formalities are completed.
First thing on my list is to get PPF coating done. I am seeking more suggestion on post delivery items\task.

I hope the R3 helps me to travel farther with relatively less downtime and maintenance cost.
And I hope with the R3 community I make new set of friends for life and that they will help me to keep the bike running in top condition.
