Use the tool that comes with the motorcycle, the other end of the spark plug tool is use to drain engine oil.

To avoid the risk of ruining the threads on the crank case I've stopped using other tools and strictly resort to using tools provided by the manufacturer as the muscle memory would come to aid if the need arises while on a long interstate ride.

AP, I have been having a problem with CT100 kicker for few months now. Kicker feels like it slips(or disengage) at the end of every kick but returns back. I have to kick 10 to 15 times before the bike starts. The condition worsened now and I took my bike to the mechanic today, he said it can be fixed by changing clutch plate and engine oil and it would around cost 700 to 1000 rupees (approx.). Is that genuine? I am also thinking of servicing since it's more than a year I serviced the bike. May be would end up spending 2.5K. As the mechanic stays closer to my residence if he is genuine then it will also help me in terms of long term maintenance.

On level ground on the main stand, you needn't have to tilt your vehicle to see the oil level.

Are there any obvious points of oil leakage on the ground where your bike is parked?

Is the area around the clutch cover i.e. RHS kick lever side wet / oil stained? Look on the underside as well. Check the area around the drain nut. If there are wet areas / oil + dirt stains, then the gaskets in that location will need to be changed.

Apart from these I can't think of any other reason why your engine oil levels should become low.
RK, I notice there is a leak of oil in the bottom or bolt which gets removed to drain the engine oil. I wipe it then it stops until I ride the bike the next time. What can I do to fix it?
