Hi Prashnagpal, I own a Benelli TNT 300 and I have enrolled for the Happy Savings Plan which has helped me save quite a bit on my service costs. I believe DSK have launched the HSP plan for the 302R as well.

I think this will be a great option for everyone looking at reducing the overall cost of ownership.

Could you please explain as to how much this costs & how do you end up saving on service costs? Is it some discounted service bills or labour becomes free?

Hey Prashnagpal, please correct me if I wrong, I think happy savings plan are limited to dealership you have purchased the plan from. What if you get transferred/relocated to some other city?

Re: Benelli 302R Owners Reviews and Experiences

just finished the first free service after 850km, it cost me around 3500 Rs.

I dropped the bike around 10 am at DSK Service Center near Domlur junction (Next to Shanti Sagar) and it was ready at 1PM.

First service includes the change in Engine Oil and Oil filter mainly.

Along with the normal maintenance, i had few minor issues:
-The clutch was too tight, which i observed is the same case for all Benelli's. They tried to lubricate and adjust but still, it's a tough to operate in the bumper to bumper traffic
-Gear shifts weren't as smooth so they tried to make it smoother. let's see if that worked
-i get the rear brake level on a little bit lower side just to relax the foot and to avoid unknowingly pressing the breaks.

Conclusion: The service was quick and clean considering it's a working day I hope the bike will run smoothly now.

Tip: try to take some cash along with you as they charged 2% extra on card

They charged 413 bucks for Chain lubing? and what is that labor charge for consumables - 201 bucks?

Can we ask them not to lube the chain and do it ourselves?

Also, what is the recommended Engine oil Grade?

P.S - just exploring the cost of ownership between these twins for future ownership

                          Regards,

                            I also regret paying this

as i met other TNT25 owner, he said the same thing.
He brings his own chain lube. as its a brand new bike, nothing else was needed. so consumables charge is something they looted

DSK may open a new service center in Whitefield soon, so next time i will try the new one as this center is too much

Engine oil is 10W50 Motul Fully synthetic, i checked prize online it was same as they charged.

This guys are just ripping customers IMO. Why they had charged for labor. It should be free of cost under free servicing. Benelli bikes might be good but these kinda situation really pissed me off with Benelli, high and unjustified maintenance cost. I heard that TNT 300 owners had to change chain-sprockets within 15-20k kms which costs 10K. Is it justified? IMO No, Never. Anyways please stay out this service guys as much as possible because they have just opened their showroom to loot people like us who falls in love with beautiful machines.

Correction: It used to cost 15k, then the prices came down to 13k.
