Yeah, but which brand? The CBR250 has alloys from emkay, for example.

As for the engine protector part of the silver pack: Policy extends to cover the consequential damage to the internal child parts of the engine of the Insured Vehicle arising out of water ingression/ leakage of lubricating oil and/or damage to gear box of the Insured Vehicle arising out of leakage of lubricating oil due to Accidental means.

I guess its more useful in areas that are prone to floods?
Yes, MB that is called Hydrolock. Usually, these too come under standard warranty nothing unusual. If the vehicle is flooded, it's always advisable to not crank the engine, instead leave the vehicle as it is and as the insurance agent to inspect the vehicle, get it towed and then the engine started and so the procedure follows. In case, the engine is hydrlocked and you crank the engine and you throw a rod, it won't considered accidental and you'd have to take it your own way. There have been many instances of this.

He just called me and told that his engine seized and the gear is stuck at 4th gear. He has called up TVS for towing. It's been 4-5 days since his purchase. Really sad to hear. Awaiting further communication from his side as to the reason for it. He told me that he has been riding for 17 years but nothing like this ever happened to him.
Seizure can happen due to a lot of reasons, little to no oil, or the engine not lubricated due to a faulty part. Either way, it's imperative that he as a customer get an explanation as to what happened in the first place and the replacement procedures. Do keep us posted on the status quo, would definitely come in handy for folks around here.

leech, would be great if you can throw some more color on this, it was manufactured by emkay? AFAIK, and IIRC the older batches were manufactured by ENKEI and the newer ones in China.

          Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
          The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

          THE END

I know this is OT, but even my Unicorn 160 alloys were made by Enkei.

Perhaps he might have misspelled enkei as emkay or it could have been an autocorrect.
I couldn't find any leads online for emkay wheels/alloys.

Lol your riding style is good, hardly anyone can get this figure. I get 38-43 on my gixxer and getting 32-33 on the FZ25 thanks to the insane traffic at Whitefield.

No amount of riding style changes will give you actual 50kmpl on 310cc.

50 kmpl on digital gauge. And giving out yolo statements instead of kms done and speed maintained. I find this guy hilarious. He must be 17.
Just a year back he was making bold biased statements for TVS when the rtr200v was launched. Can't take him or his claims seriously.
