    Hi guys

The TVS showroom contacted me mentioning that I'll be getting the motorcycle in 2 weeks. It's been a long wait. But I would like to know whether there are serious issues which still persist in the Apache RR310 even after the service. Would be grateful if the owners could shed some light into the issues which still persist and the concerns right now. I dont wanna have a buyer's remorse later.

      Hello,
      congratulations on your new purchase.
      1) the bike vibrates a lot on handlebar. So if that bothers you, test ride from some 310 owner in your area. before u make the big leap (i am sure they wont give u a test ride bike)
      2) Even though the bike is 310 cc, the top speed is around 160 only. But some underpowered bikes reach 150kph now a days. (R15 v3). So if racing is your main priority, this bike may not satisfy you.
      3) ask the showroom manager to sell the bike in old price tag.(2.05 lakhs). If you ask them nicely they will give you 8000 discount.
      4) the bike will look like sex. So Be prepared for onslaught of squids trying to race you in road.
ask the manager to give some freebies bike gears to you. This may sound silly. But it works. Tvs showrroms used to give free helmets, bike covers for their scooters & tvs xl bikes.
      5) the gearbox will feel a bit clunky sometimes.(especially going from 5th to 6th gear). Watch out for that. Ask them to show the bike load. Inspect every bike & Choose one from them.
      All the best.

Not one thing said above is right. Not even one thing. Barring the fact about squids trying to race you. Before answering his question I would like to know the source of your such profound information.

After all the new bike syndrome died down, I have started to doubt about getting this one without a proper test drive..

          A few negatives first.

I had a N250 previously, and riding this is a pain in traffic. The palms face torture everyday!

While touring, the handlebars vibrate alot. You r arms become numb after a point. Though it goes upto 160kmph, there's no effortlessness in the engine. Though I am not a speed junkie, even 120-130 doesn't feel too great.

After a certain rpm, very few parts remain without vibes.
Facing false neutrals and false gears even after first service. Coming from a positive neutral finder experience, this irritates me.

Panel gaps exist. Panels vibrate - yes

          Some positives

Tremendous handling and breaking. Absolutely a hoot in this segment

Looks way too good for this segment

Great features at this price point.
          Sounds good too.
          AweSome is too LesS!

            1. Panels don't vibrate. None do after 4000kms of usage. Panel gaps? This thing is built as well as a R3.
            2. It's a single. What you expecting? The smoothness of a twin?
            3. Thr motor loves to be revved! If you need something that makes power low down, look for the dominar.
            4. You clutch and chain slack need adjustment.

Problem with 99% users is they don't research. They probably think they are the only one's facing the issues. Moreover Issues aren't issues at all lol

While idling rr sounds like it has loose tappets, but after revving it sounds sweet [emoji16]

I pointed out what I am facing. And for me, these are issues. Built as well as an R3? Well, that's debatable.

The ninja makes power after 5k rpm, having owned it, I know the power delivery I am looking for and this isn't great.

If plastic panels don't vibrate, then I have no idea what noise resonates at certain rpms. Probably it's air whizzing past!

The chains are adjusted and they don't make noise.. The false gears happened even when it came out after first service.

As I said, probably I expected too much. But these are issues for any owner. Maybe minor, but definitely spoil the experience to a large extent

                  1. Ninja makes the power after 5000rpm. So? This thing comes alive after 5500 to redline. If you were looking for higher redline, R3 should have been your choice.
                  2. Check well! Why do you say plastic panels vibrate! I know cases where there were coins, kid put'em inside the visor.
                  3. Chain and clutch adjustment for your shifting issue. If you knew what should have been done, you wouldn't be saying this here.
                  4. Built as well as R3. Not debatable.
                  5. As said, people consider things to be problems which aren't problrms

                      1) unless you are living under a rock or something, almost every owner in this forum know that this motorcycle vibrates in handlebar & tank in certain rpms. Heck even showroom guys agree with that (in my case). If your bike dont vibtare, then that doesn’t mean that everyone else bike wont vibrate as well. The world doesn’t end with u after all.
                      2) about the r15 v3 top speed, you can check the following videos..

                      3) since hyperionx booked on april, i suggested that idea to him. you can contact sakthi saradha showroom & verify the price about the pre booked bikes showroom price. I bought mine in last month for 2.05 lakhs. I am sorry if u had paid more.
                      4) my brother in law bought a tvs xl in local showroom & they gave a helmet for free to inrease sale. Infact they had two options. Either a cheap helmet or full tank (4 litre)during delivery. He chose the former. I don’t have to show the photo of tvs xl & free helmet to prove, bcoz u wont believe anyway.

Apparently the clutch play got changed. He adjusted it and now the gear shifts and acceleration are back to being butter-smooth. But still don't know how it happened. It seems there are lots of issues with bike. Still CBR250R makes sense here coz it is most refined engine in its class/segment.

Any single cylinder bike with 30+bhp will vibrate.... Cbr 250r makes way less power than the rr310 thats y its refined. *Faceplam*

I am very well aware of that point. I didn'tcompare the power. I am talking about refinement. Top end of CBR and RR310 is nearly equal. I would always choose refinement.
