friends i had booked my int650 ravishing red on 20 nov yesterday i got a call that my bike will be delivered in first week of April and they told me to finalize the color one last time and told i have to take the bike i haven't test rode the bike yet i told them to provide the bike for test ride because i may or may not like the bike and after all its a 3 lac question but they told me they don't have any bike for test ride. I am 6'2'' with 85 Kg having gun-metal grey Classic 350.used to have RD earlier. Thought INT650 is pretty close to what RD would have been in these days but based on reviews and all of you i am asking should i give them go ahead even without a test ride?

Yes that warning light could be a handy thing and it should glow or blink when there is only 3 ltrs or fuel in the tanks and most fi pumps needs 2.5 to 3 ltrs of fuel in the tank to operate safely, goes for all efi equiped Motorcycles.Originally posted by JN8304 View PostI think they should have applied the fuel gauge system from their CL 500 series-blinking orange light.

You can book a test ride online or write a mail to re regarding a td. No doubts the bike is very good and would suit both tall and short riders. After c500 you would relish the engine refinement and power which is always available on tap.
I would pick the bike up if i am offered a early delivery ( yes i have booked it).
Had 3 test rides and every time it felt better than the last one.
Point to note is that I am vertically challenged at only 5.4fts of height.
The only thing which will make me cancel my booking now is the eternity that it is taking for the Motorcycle to arrive.

Were the motorcycles carburetor based? If yes, then you could at least tell when the bike would go into reserve fuel. Not the case with FI systems. Ravishing Red - almost perfect
After a long wait of 3 months I finally got the bike, fun fact ,I haven't seen the bike or did the test drive. I straight away took the delivery, but to much suprise the bike is way better than expected , I am not very experienced rider, viewers discretion is advised
Let's start with the good stuff
Performace :
Power delivery is very good , amazing acceleration, The intial torque is just like bullet 500 cc but It can pull with the same force after 4.5k rpm which is the main difference between the 2
Most impressive thing is bike pulls strongly in 6th gear even as low at 2000rpm which is just amazing
Bulid quality :
Bulid quality is very good, what ever you touch feels premium, plastics are also of good quality , many people has complained regarding rusting, I am happy to say, all the new batch bikes have anti rust paint applied on that specific areas
Mileage :
One the first day itself I had done 300km and I used full tank to full tank method to calculate , you will be suprised to hear this ...but it returned impressive 30.6kmpl with 2 people on the bike on highway
Braking and suspension :
Brakes are spot on , the choice of brakes and tires are the best combination that anyone can provide in this price bracket being so heavy doesn't change how this bike stops
Cons
Seat:
Seat looks very nice and just ok for short rides but it is really uncomfortable to start with I don't know if it is the cushioning or seat design itself is like that the pillion area has good support but it is straight level as of driver so even a slightest of the acceleration can make the pillion fall back!! It's not a joke it's very true I myself experienced that
Pillion :
The sitting position of pillion is like squating and very uncomfortable to be on as pillion
fuel gauge :
It's very inaccurate and keeps changing with the bikes postion

Back from a 600kms Ride (Bangalore - Kolli Hills - Bangalore)
+ The torque at 3-5k rpm is amazing , Most cars don't expect an enfield to over take them at 120-130km/hr
+ Mileage: Getting consistently around 27km/lt
+ Gear box + Slipper clutch made the 140 hair curves hell lot of fun
+ The Bike hits 150km/hr in no time!!!
+ The only enfield where the brakes works (Its good)
- The Touring seats needs modifications (Butt pain starts around 400kms of riding)
- The mirrors are blurred around 130kms
Have been using the bike extensively for highway, If you guys have any questions regarding it highway capability will be happy to answer if any

I was told tgat the black touring mirrors has anti glare feature. I couldnt test it but it could be true as the relflection is a bit lesser sharp in the black mirror. Was between 2nd / 3rd & 4th during both times, I Must say that i was taking the curves quite aggressively to test bike capability. The downhill was where the slipper clutch felt heaven (Thank you RE). Thanks for the info, one more question, have you put anti puncture sealant in the tires. The biggest drawback of this machine according to me is having tube tires. I don’t think there is/are any procedures that you need to follow to know your bike delivery status. You may try writing to RE customer care/regional sales head but I am not sure if you will receive a favourable response from them. Sorry for being pessimistic here.
Continue your follow up with the dealer, if necessary, speak to owner/manager of the showroom and show them your seriousness.
Don’t loose hope. RE is very well known to keep its customers waiting, they have been doing this since 2010. I am sure you are very passionate about the bike, so hang in there, two more days for the big day!!!
