Atleast they could bring tubeless tire conversion kit.

Has anyone picked up a Tank bag, any issues with a magnetic tankbag?
I was considering buying the "Gods Zeon R2 Motorcycle Magnetic Tank Bag", suggestions?

I am using a magnetic tank bag from TripMachine. No issues so far.
However, a youtuber (Strell) had reported that on a CGT he had issues with the tank bag when the fuel was full. He says that the engine would startup then switch off. Haven't seen anyone else report such issues.

Took it to RE service today, and my worst fears have come true. It is indeed the dreaded Tappet Noise. I have been asked to bring it in tomorrow to do the tappet adjustment.

Just when I was beginning to feel that the Twins are far apart from the RE Bullets, here comes a bombshell. Hope this doesn't become a routine thing every 1000 Kms.
Left it at the RE service for half a day. The valve clearance was done, but slight noise is still present. The tech said if it increases over time we can get help from RE Chennai.

Few guys in my riding grp are using this disk lock.

Today went for 1st service of my interceptor but couldn't get it done as the service centre didn't have the oil filter & they are not even sure when it will be available. Must say that after sales service is pathetic & unexpected from RE for their 650 twins.
I got the sump guard fitted at the service centre today & they disassembled the left exhaust for installing the sump guard. Is it normal practice as the mechanics didn't seem to be well accustomed with the Interceptor

Yes that is bad they should be having all the stuff related to bike and needed in service.
And yes again to fit the sump gaurd they have to remove many things including the exhaust. U can check the same at re website in accessories section installation pdf is given with each product. For this very reason i have for now have decided not to fit the sump gaurd as i do not intend to do serious off road and that oil filter is sturdy enough for normal day usage.

Thanks for your prompt response as I was a bit worried about the correct process of installing the sump guard.

Has anyone installed after market mirrors or the accessories mirrors provided by RE? are they any better than the stock mirrors?

I have. They're pretty good. Stable at high speeds no buzz and looks pretty cool too.

I visited the Bandra, Mumbai showroom yesterday to try and see if I could speed up delivery by opting for any colour apart from chrome. I'm 7th on the list for Ravishing Red, they estimate 30-45 days minimum unless people before me cancel.
