These news portals are presenting a rumor as a news. Earlier, it was rumored that increase will be Rs. 10k. RE will increase the prices, for sure, but exact amount is yet to be announced.

Does anyone know the S&S kits for the 650s? any information rumor on it ? whether the same has come to the country or I would have to fly to the states to get them.

Yes Highnote performance has the S&S. They have a store in Delhi near chattarpur

But this is one hell of an expensive exhaust which would always be illegal and attracts 5000 rs fine. As this is a race only exhaust and they would make you sign a undertaking like Harley does with after market exhausts.

Traffic cops are now extra vigilant for loud horns, exhausts and fog lights so why take risk and face license expansion ( yes they can do it for 3 months).

OK well I have a question
I am a novice rider and by God's grace have been given the opportunity to own the int650. I wonder if aftermarket exhausts such as AEW are within the limits of the law and still covered under warranty.
If not can you suggest and exhausts or other modifications that may come under warranty.

No , all aftermarket exhausts are illegal and would attract a fine of rs 5k as per new rules. And yes company has full rights to deny you warranty if you are using it.
Even if some showroom is selling it , it will be illegal as these are not homologated and not approved and no after market exhausts falls under the legal decibel level limits even with DB killers.

Harley and few brands which sell loud exhausts at their showrooma would make the owner sigh a undertaking for using it.

Thank you, I was more concerned about the block kits, but it is a lead.

I remember sometime back, I had seen a post where someone had reported a squeaking noise coming from their suspension while going over humps. I have been facing this issue for the past few weeks. Also whenever there is a change in the terrain, like a new layer of tar or a shallow pothole, I hear a sharp 'taak' noise coming from the front suspension. Not sure if that was the best way to express that sound. Please do let me know if the root cause of this problem was identified and how it was addressed. Thanks in advance.

OK understood has anyone ever actually tested the sound of the stock exhaust since the db limit is 80 if it is well under then what would the limit be with and aftermarket exhaust.
I do request if any owner here does have a modified exhaust on their bike just please check the db produced by it.
                      Thanks anyways 👍

The sound on the front is probably from the front rotor/disc , as it is has some play in it. They rotor is riveted to the spider and thus it has play to aid the braking you can check this by hand. And the front tak sound is coming from there.
For the rear noise can't clearly say anything without hearing it but u can try going one step stiffer on the rear suspension(super easy to do) and that should probably resolve it. Otherwise get it checked out.
For how to adjust the rear suspension preload, check my older post i have made and share the video on the same.

Thanks for the reply, Ijs. I was also suspecting it to be the disc. Once I was waiting at a signal and trying to figure it out. I did notice that with my front brake fully actuated, my front wheel did move a bit back and front and in the process gave a click. As it is a recent occurrence, I assume this can be fixed. Also I noticed this noise comes even when I go over road undulations without using the brake. Does the theory still hold?

I did see ur video before to use the c spanner to change the suspension stiffness. Thanks for the upload. It helps novice bikers like me.

Yes the front rotor does make some noise on bad roads. Still you clear your doubts there is no harm is getting things checked at the service center.

Well due to single seat no one's sitting as a pillion hence no need for a grab rail
