Congratulations mate! These legends are back. I'll probably get one for dad, coz he had one back in the day.

Blue Forty2 is what I'm thinking. Keep us posted. And amazing choice.

Congratulations bro, personally I like the 42, it has that retro modern charm. Jawa is good too, they put too much attention to detail on making it look quite exact like the old one.

May I ask why you're getting both models?

My cousin has Mahindra Mojo, and he has only praise for the engine. He is a tourer, and liked it very much for his use. Previously he had RE 350, he said the difference is night and day between both these, from RE vibes to super smooth Mojo, and the engine retains triple digit speeds so well. Mind you, RE doing triple digit speeds isn't a good thing & only leads to problems sooner.

Mate, your cousin is absolutely right about the engine.

Hope test ride starts soon as we wait to see how well this engine performs in Jawa

And ture, Mojo engine is a gem it delivers on quality and performance, all thanks to Mahindra's tuning and testing.

Owners congrats your Legends. One thread that is highly sought after the the 650 twins. So happy to see this thread so quick, up and running. Don't forget to post, oodles of pictures, thorough ride reviews.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                THE END

I am still undecided on which one looks better, they both are stunners but will settle on the one that looks the best when i get to see them in person.

+1 for the 42. Booked online but didn't get confirmation due to website glitch. Emailed support and fingers crossed that I manage to get on the list .

I don't think the bike will be seen in the flesh anytime soon though. Dealership locations may have been shared but there are no names yet. Also support is saying early 2019 which might roll into mid year if mahindra's game isn't on point.

Re: Jawa & 42 Ownership Experience

In Odisha, dealerships are located in Towns (not even proper cities) where people don't even ride bikes like Jawa. Most of the motorcycles seen in there are rural commuter ones. You'll get to see some RE Bullets but that's it. Even the Twin Cities (Captial; BBSR & Cuttack) do not have any dealerships listed, although I was told that a dealership was soon to be opened on Cuttack-Bhubaneswar highway.

Dealership work in Odisha is still underway. You can search for Bijaya Motors in Google Maps. They shall open in early Jan. Another 2 dealerships will soon come up in Berhampur and Rourkela. The first one is opening in Bhubaneswar-Cuttack highway (Capital).
