Re: Jawa & 42 Ownership Experience
Alloy wheels are peace of mind for many rider..of course I will suggest the XT...but XT only over UT because it has more power and fuel injection..Originally posted by Vipergts07 View PostWould you still suggest someone get the UT or XT mojo?
You cannot compare Jawa with Mojo..they are different motorcycles..targeting a different population... people who prefer retro and classic style and want modern technology in the bike..jawa is the best deal which a person can get as of now...Regards,

Re: Jawa & 42 Ownership Experience
I had booked the Jawa 42 on 25th December. But I cancelled it today since I feel the wait is too long. Waiting for a good 8 months to get the bike is really something I cannot do.
However I do wish people here who have booked it get it as early as possible and have a great time with it.
Aby suggestions for a good bike costing about 1.8L max on road?

There are a lot of sweet bikes and it depends on your choice of poison.
At lower end, you have 3 offerings from Bajaj - P220 with ABS, NS 200 with ABS and RS200 with ABS.
If a naked bike but simple one is the way then TVS Apache RTR 200 4V with ART slipper clutch. It also comes with ABS.
I believe all Royal Enfields are now equipped with ABS.
Then you've got Yamaha FZ25 and it should also be coming with ABS.
Yamaha R15 V3 is a sharp and modern bike that has one of the very best engines India has ever seen.
You can also get Honda CBR 250R Non-ABS for less than 2L.
If you want superb fun - KTM Duke 200.
It is sad to read about cancellation, especially from a fellow XBHPian.
Hope you find your ride soon.Regards,
Akash Yadav

I know both are very different bikes.
I'm just not sure about reliability on the RE. Else would've already booked one. You got any summary on the Classic 350? 😄

It wasn't a really comfy bike, at least for me. The handle felt too big and too far.
The weight of the bike is another fly in the ointment.
I've owned V2 and it was a sweet sweet bike.
Currently I ride a P220 and it feels just so perfect for all kinds of duties(city or highway).Regards,
Akash Yadav
