Jawa has released an official statement which I can confirm by personal experience that these motorcycles' online booking is non transferable. So no use looking for someone else's booking. I have cancelled mine though. I had booked a Jawa 42 Nebula blue and was among the first few in my area. However due to some behavioral issues of the Royal Enfield staff hired for the Jawa showroom made me change my mind. Didn't feel like dealing with those guys. The refund also took long and had to raise escalations for it. Thankfully it was handled and I got a full refund.
Anyways I have a different motorcycle now and I'm happily revving away on my own tune in the running in period.

Good luck to those who start getting deliveries hopefully next month.

Sad you have to cancel booking and congratulations for your new bike. Can we know which bike is it?

Nice. It looks really sporty in this color combination.
I will still have to wait for Jawa42.
          Happy riding.

Not a expert but i think classic legends have played nicely. Initial booking happen in late Nov 18. 4 months and all they have done is inaugurate showrooms with pre production bikes on display. Quality is still suspect as no one have seen the final production ready bikes. Doesn't sound good for classic legends that they have been sitting on people's money and enjoying it till it lasts. Given the lack of number , i assume it is significant amount they are sitting on.

I am in line to book one but not without looking at final product. No offence to classic legends but i wish they have handled it better.

I feel you brother. I already have a booking but I changed it to dual ABS to push the date out and read the initial reactions for the bike before I close the deal. This is always a problem for early adopters. But I guess someone has to bite the bullet and buy the first lot of bikes to create reviews. I salute those intrepid souls

[SIZE=2][FONT=tahoma]*Please note this is the test ride of the prototype and the production model deliveries are yet to happen, so please avoid passing judgement on the initial experience, respect motorcycles and it's my personal opinion*

Test rode the Jawa 42 in Delhi:

                      1. Looks are amazing and it does grab eyeballs..so much so that everyone on the road was asking about the bike while I was standing on traffic signals

                      2. Refinement, yes the engine is refined but it does get buzzy on the footpegs and handlebars near 100 kmph when you decelerate but there are no vibrations while you pick up.

                      3. How fast it is? Well, this bike is fast and easily reaches 100 kmph in no time and even the engine does not feel the stress.

                      4. Comfort: The seats are wide which gives you ample space to move around but it needs to be a bit soft for longer ride. For people are who are 6 feet (Since I am 6'2'') and above might feel uncomfortable since the rider triangle created is not that good with your knees bent too much and some what protruding out. For people with shorter height, it will be a treat.

                      5. Gear Shifts are smooth

                      6. Handling: The rear suspension set up is a bit on the stiffer side which makes handling very good, plus filtering through traffic is a bliss on this motorcycle and u turns are a joke

                      7. Braking is good and rear also has good bite, being a drum brake, it will surprise you

                      8. Heating: There are no heating issues. Give a break to the radiator of the bike, poor chap!! [emoji14]

[COLOR=#000000]Summary: It is a very simple motorcycle which can be ridden in the city for show offs and serious touring can also be done on this subject to modification of the seat. Yes you can do 90- 110 kmph all the day long without vibrations but not 120 kmph..this bike is not meant to do that.

Here is the link of short ride video which I made:

                        Hi Adhip,
How was your experience with clutch? I felt it was too light/soft on the test ride Jawa. I didnt got a chance to test ride Jawa42 yet.

Clutch operation was not very hard and not very soft for me...the slotting of the gears was perfect...

I just got back from a Jawa test ride and while the 42 has potential, I do not regret buying a different motorcycle.

I tried both motorcycles, kept dirty outside with none of the employees explaining anything about the motorcycle. Took them for a spin, 42 first, the riding position was better on this one and the torque was enjoyable, off road was not so bad at all, yea I found some off road on a test ride. The sound is definitely good but a little bothersome in a full faced helmet when it's closed. The Jawa itself on the other hand was actually uncomfortable and did not feel any bit fun. Annoying vibrations at 60 kmph

However, if I had to pick between an RE 350 and a Jawa 42, it'd be the Jawa, no questions asked.

                            Happy riding!

No it did not feel as viby as the Jawa itself, as I said if I had to pick between the two I'd pick the 42 and I did but I cancelled the booking. Btw the sound is really an attention grabber.

If you're interested in it please make sure you get a good test ride before shelling out the hard earned money
