So if you're not getting frequent long rides and use it exclusively for a commute, it's recommended that you switch your oil every 4-6 months.
That's applicable during the first service, when the engine is new and there might be some metal shavings. After first service the service interval is 1 year or 10k kilometers, whichever happens earlier.

Moreover the engine drain bolt has magnet inside to catch metal parts or anything loose inside. My running is mixed, city use as well as highway rides. But i understand your point, i'll discuss with the Area service manager of RE and then get it done

GT 650 can be quite painful on your back and wrists for long rides, Interceptor is what you should get for that, you can ride all day.

They said the handle is over tightened and we'll fix that, now the handle wobbles at speeds of around 80 kmph on leaving the handle, i know i am not supposed to do it, but i just did it for a while and noticed the handle moving.

Total bill: 162rs, they didn't charge me for the chain maintenance.

    Many thanks in advance.
Update : Went to RVS, met Saleem and technician Prakash. Pleasent experience as usual and now the Service manager Omprakash ji will take appointment from Aditi or Rajesh motors for wheel alignment and as per the technician that should resolve the issue as puncture guy did not fit the tyre properly. Front tyre pressure was 28 and topping to 32 has helped like 20% with the wobble. Keeping fingers crossed. Will update after alignment.

    Thanks

You can go to any service center present in India, there's no such rule.

I bought my bike from the Ajmer Road showroom which is company owned, they have made a WhatsApp group for the 650 Twins owner and there people were praising the aditi motors service center, the name of the technician is chiranjeev who is expert of the twins, try that service center.

I'll ask the admins to add you into the group as well, there you can read the opinions and put any queries.

If I have a existing bike and I´m purchasing a second one, is that possible to transfer the NCB in that case as well?
Yes. It is possible. I have transferred NCB on my old car to new one as well as from my old bike to a new one. I did take help from Coverfox in executing this. Like I said both the car and bike dealers insurance team while being aware of this aspect tried their best to dissuade me from doing this. I had to threaten them with cancellation of order itself. I also said that I would escalate the matter to the Regional Sales head of RE. Finally they relented. There are some technicalities with respect to this. Hence you will have to consult an auto insurance agent who is independent.

Here is an article from economic times to help you understand the nuances.

The No Claim Bonus (NCB) is given to the policy owner and not to the insured vehicle. Therefore, the NCB cannot be passed on to another name. However, you can use the retained NCB (certificate is issued) when buying a new policy for your new car.

There's no difference between getting a insurance from the showroom or on your own, once the bike is sold you have to deal with service center and the insurance provider on your own.

So get the insurance from outside and save some money, check on policybazaar and compare the prices with the dealer quotation.

If you need some help in selecting the insurance and other bits personal message me directly

When I bought my Interceptor I got insurance through Coverfox and made sure that my existing NCB was transferred to my Interceptor 650. The folks at Coverfox helped me with the nitty gritties.

My RE dealer was very reluctant to allow the same. He tried to tell me that if I wanted the bike I had to buy insurance only from him. But I persisted. You can save premium paid on the new bike.

So pls plan out purchase of Insurance well and then strike a final deal. Thanks

Planning to get Dr. Mayhem home in few months from now.
