You know what bro... this might sound as a far cry, but the numbers by which bigger and better bikes are comming to India, it might not be very late that the Government becomes insane about the rules and regulations. I would suggest to have the front number plate and sarre gaurd (I no it does look annoying) but you never know when things can embarrasing!!Originally posted by invincible2110 View Postthe saree guard & the frame from the front number plate would go @ first service
Just a friendly suggestion

I lived at Brisbane/GoldCoast. Do a google on kawasaki melboure and I am sure you will get some leads. If you are looking for some accessories, try SuperCheap Autos. You will get a good deal as the Christmas sale is on. You can get some nice bargains on the mods as Ninja is an entry segment bike there, hence the mods would be cheap as well. . Have fun mate. Keep an open eye for the sexiest racing jackets on the planet. Ride Safe.Originally posted by bluevolt View PostWhich city were you in? Do you know of any nice shop selling 250R parts in Melbourne? I will be there in a couple of weeks, so any info will be helpful - I plan to swap out the black tail covers with the green ones and also get my hands on a rear hugger and a disc lock. I haven't got my bike yet, but no harm getting parts before hand.
Thanks

i would like to take this opportunity to rib all those waiting for their bikes, that i got it the day i paid for it. No booking, nothing. And im sure a green ninja can be bought asap too. But sadly only for NCR people. PM me if anyone is interested.
With regards to spares - brake pads were around 1500, the side fairing is about 15-16k!!( one side) and more prices are to come to the bajaj service engineers themselves. I am expecting a bump of about 25% from the OEM spare pricing in indonesia/malaysia
My offerings to the gods of speed -
- KTM Duke 200
- Yamaha RXZ 5 speed

Congrats once again....
@jd666-- how would you rate the handling vis a vis with the R15?(cosidering she is 150 & hence lighter) and does the frame have any impact on handling? as R15 has the same frame mould as SBK's but the Ninja doesn't, why?(below tank the weld & the huge thick bar, do they have any say in handling?)

@ALL
From a future owners point of view (might just grab the baby in coming march), can some one shed lights on factors like how much exactly do i need to spend on a monthly basis ?
For example, let me say I make a downpayment of 1.5 Lakhs and remaining loan (I stay in hyderabad, not yet sure of on-road price here).
How much would be the Emi and coming to maintenance,
I desperately needs to know the cost of spare parts for the ninja. Some one please post prices of as many parts as possible. (owned two karizmas in the past, considering they are of best quality i often had to change spare parts within a matter of months)
I am pretty sure there are no free services, so how much does one needs to shed out every time we walk in for refreshments?
Overall, need a report card on after purchase expenses
PS : I have posted the same issue on one of the other threads, posting it here as this looks like a more apt place. Mods, please dont mind.

In my opinion anybody who's going for rear fender elimination, should also have the rear tire hugger installed too... else given a mudy or wet track, the un-blocked mud and water getting thrown from the rear tire would be very uncomfortable for anyone behind us!!Originally posted by SandycoreBiker View Post@Xinfii:Next mod getting rid of rear mud flap. i think Farfromno... has it installed.
A humble request to be a bit considerate to our fellow traffic goers
