^^^ have a related query - what's the battery specification? Well, it would be 12v maintenance free but what is the capacity - amps?

lets good times roll ! yes its absolutely perfect day for me today. i went with my friends today to see my friends ninja. it was awesome as we know how it looks drop dred gorgeous. i should thank Mr Srini to give the bike how it feels. i did turn on the switch the city lamp did turn on automatically. start your engine did say the green, wow the sound was very soothing to the ears surely a rahamanic.i did take the bike to old mahabalipuram, on the first whip of the throttle came the sbkish type of power,i own a r15 but i could feel the diff very much the twin motor was romantic she did fly to 120kmph within secs and the braking which i discovered only at that moment oh wow no words it did stop with no fuss even a millimeter.seating is like more or less than sbk. surely i did feel bajaj should give test ride because they can sell 2000 units for sure because when i ride only i got know the magic of the bike.it handles like dream and cuts like a knife in the butter or cheese.vibration did tell to me that he was angry because this bike dint have it lol. folks pls dont ever crib about the priceing because it is worth the money for sure sure sure. kudos to bajaj for bringing this bike to india which every one can dream of getting it for sure.analog is also ok but no fuel gauge for a mini sbk is the one and only minus point to me which i felt. folks ride it to belive it which i did today !

@dushyant&TenHut: Congrats on getting the Kwacker!

Just something I came across in the Ninja forums about run-in:
                    1st 500 miles (~750kms.): Below 4K RPM.
                    Next 500 miles (~750kms.): Below 6K RPM.

Please let me know the speeds she is doing in top gear at the above RPMs!

Basically, the exhaust sound is very muted when we take out the bike from showroom. Engine starts loosening up and then the sound gets audible. I think that in first 2000 or so km, the exhaust sound will keep on getting better.

Secondly, there can't be any comparison in lighting. Normally bikes have one 12v x 35w headlight. Ninja has two 12 v x 55w headlights. So road illumination is not going to be any challenge.

Ok , since 220 has a 55wx2 but both work independantly the illumination would be similar.

Do the bulbs work together on the ninja at high beam ?

                                Folks,

My bike is being registered today and I will be picking it up sometime in the next few days. Could someone please enlighten me with the type of fuel the Ninja can drink? I know that high octane is good, but what if can't get something like Speed 97 and I'm forced to take Speed? Will this be manageable or is it quite unacceptable?
