      A Tough Experince Shared

This is to inform all the stunner users to plz plz plz ride there bike very very carefully... The spare parts a real pain in d ass.
I would like to share a personal experienco of mine(Really Bad 1 )
I am from delhi n my bike hit a small stone on d Akarshardham Flyover at 30-40 knph...... I suffered hardly any injuries (just a bruise on knee) dere wasn't any big damage but a ""buldge in the alloy ""
This is the major disadvantage of stunner with an alloy wheels as soon as bike is hits to some thing all the air blows off because of the buldge in the alloy .
So I went to tyrewala n he filled up my front air pressre to 25 but the air slowly started leaking.... (coz of the buldge)
I went to the Honda Service Station.... (belive me its reallly far off in the industrial area)
They said that only thing they cud do is to replace the alloy ,but they don't have 1,n they have to order it to HMSI. Wud take roughly 1 month....
I drove ma bike 1.5 month with low air pressure n bulge with a speed(>50kmph)
finally with 2-3 rounds to service station 1 day i had to wait frm 11am-4pm dere n they gave d bike serviced n repaired
Also the staff dere is tooooo unsupportive jus like a lazy Govt. office... Real poor services
So frendz The MORAL of the story is drive carefully
as the first thing that goes off in case of even a minor accident is the alloy which is in scarcity to find

Just came across the mileage part of this bike selling in europe, when I was reading the pdf http://ww1.honda.co.uk/brochure/down...2009_125cc.pdf

            2. FUEL EFFICIENCY – During development
of the CBF125’s engine it delivered an
incredible 370 miles from one 13-litre tank

            (in test conditions)

            i.e 370/13 lt= 29 miles per liter
            i.e 29 * 1.5=42 Kms.

If this is true , how come the same bike selling in india with no differences in engine , design, dynamics claiming 60 kms per liter?

Thats a well taken pic! The tank guard looks nice too! Where did you get it from-DSG or local? It does complement the stickering very well I must say!

Sad to here the incident, but instead of roaming with less air pressure, you could have tried rim truing. It should have solved your problem. In case if that was not possible, you could have tried putting a tube in the tyre and ride.

+1 to that. I couldn't really find any great value addition for the 15-16grand, except the Fi addition, it could have been priced at 63K on road IMO.
