Re: MotoGP 2016 Season - Updates!

I started following MotoGP only when 6 - 8 races were left in last season.. Just watched one race and it was enough to get me glued to it and I have been following it closely since then.. Also watched few previous famous races on you tube

Though I had heard the term, I didn't know what exactly was MotoGP, until last year when I was watching the Yamaha R3 launch online.. John Abraham kept using the term MotoGP and was saying hope it comes to India etc.. Only then I googled for MotoGP

I remembere watching (these kind of) motorcycle races on Doordarshan back in late 90s with my dad.. Not sure whether it was MotoGP or WSBK or some other competition, but I used to love it.. I was around 8-10 years old when I first watched the race.. The way the riders leaned on corners used to amaze me and kept me wondering..

After all the things that happened in the last season, this time hoping for a better season with healthy rivalry, good sportsmanship and matured way of handling things..

Guys, are we sure TenSports will telecast the races including Qualifying live? I hope they dont do a Star Sports on us (WSBK Telecast). My reason for being skeptical is no listing of MotoGP on TenSports website.

Why is everyone so against motorbike racing?

If I remember correctly, MotoGP was not listed on TenSports.com even last year, not sure why..

2016*MotoGP TV Channels Broadcasting Live Worldwide this website says Ten Sports will be the broadcaster for Indian sub continent for 2016..

Also, recently while watching a cricket match highlights on Ten Cricket, I saw an ad with few MotoGP clips from 2015 season and a caption saying, "coming soon on Ten Sports"..

So I guess Ten sports is not planning any last minute surprises

Ten Sports will be showing the races for sure. At least on HD! Last year they showed all the qualifying sessions as well.

                Else watch on the internet!

Yes they will. If not in 'Ten Sports', then on its sister channel 'Ten Sports Action'. As on Indian subcontinent, they are the official broadcasters for many years now.

Last year and a year prior to last, they kept switching telecast of the race on these two channels.
And if we are lucky, Star Sports channels will join in. They(Star Sports) did show some races in last two years.

Bradley and Pol both will be leaving Tech 3 apparently! Alex Rins to replace most probably, who else?

Some passion out there. Would be interesting to see his choice if Honda/Yamaha approaches him next year

“We finished the test with very positive outcomes and this makes me think that the first race will be a good one for us. It will be the first time we will be able to test the improvements we have done in a real race condition and this makes me very curious. Probably the good word for this first race will be ‘to enjoy’; we can enjoy the fact that the tests were positive and also enjoy the fact that it is going to be a good race. My objective for this is year will be to try to be consistently into the top six, but if we will work like we did in the test it is possible for something even better. The plan is easy to say; to work hard from the very beginning and to exploit all the potential we have. I’ve worked very hard during the winter to get ready for this first race and I definitely want to take Suzuki to the top.
