Atleast Tata taking broadcasting & distributing the telecast feed gave me hope but seems nobody is interested in sponsoring the telecasts .The least our motorcycle manufacturers competing in the championship can do is sponsor the telecast since getting WSBK & Motogp to India will be mired in bureaucratic hurdles that F1 faced during it's short stint .Let's hope and pray for better days for motorsports enthusiasts.

Going a bit OT here, but the bureaucratic reason is something that i don't completely believe. The bureaucrats were sleeping in the first couple of years, that they didn't hurdle F1! If you saw the attendance at the races, or the lack of it, you will understand why F1 didn't return to the Buddh. In the last outing here, people were giving free passes for the grandstand to each other, and even then no one wanted to go. How often do people say no to free stuff in India

Let's face it, F1 is boring!

True that ,but even F1 faced quite a bit of hassle in bringing in and taking back their equipment's . Without government backing lot of the races with low spectator attendances are running under loss i believe .So let's atleast have live broadcast on tv . And i agree F1 currently sucks.

Sir, With my limited understanding, first 3 years if BIC the government in UP was supportive of JP. You can guess the reasons why.
4th year the government changed, which was a setback to JP and BIC to some extent.

I will not question the year on year decline of spectators in BIC for F1 because it was clearly visible. The 2nd to last iteration of F1 did face custom issues which really jeopardized the last iteration.
Indian Customs wanted taxes for the 4 days of F1 equipment staying in India which does not happen in any their country because eventually the stuff goes back and never stays in the country to be consumed their. It was a last minute intervention by the JP group and I think they did pay some taxes for our customs to allow F1 equipment to be cleared.

Looking forward to the inaugural WSSP300 beginning today at Aragon 17.30 IST, just after Race 2 WSBK. There are 37 riders competing, off which 2 are female riders on Kawasaki Ninja 300 bikes. The youngest rider is just 15 years old. There are 24 Yamaha bikes, 10 Kawasaki and 3 Honda's that will take part in this new format of racing. Exciting times ahead!

Yet, it is an uphill task for Davies, already 50 points adrift in the championship. The worst result Rea has had so far is a 2nd! Davies has crashed twice already.

Rea is very consistent and smooth while Chaz looked to be on the limit & i didn't expect him to push after crashing in the first race but good for the championship though i support the Kawasaki's .Disappointed with Sykes though .

Same here. The race wasn't streamed live. The timing which overlapped the BSB race at Donnington Park was televised instead.

Not the best stream. But something better than nothing. Good racing -
