search for some decent R15, you can practice and then you can use it on track too. you should get a used one at around 60k, am also just thinking about it. Else you should be part of some club who will provide you bikes (Completely based on your merits) Apex has R15s, today they were racing with that

Killer aka Sameer - Bike no 30
Jr. Killer aka Jeeva - Biker no 29

      Sameer finished at 4th.
Never Give up on something that you can't go a day without thinking about.

Not sure if that was me...I was wearing a grey full hand T shirt.

I would be attempting on the Stunner which Apex is having now, those are not normal Stunners, they are race prepared bikes from the company itself.

Next week end I would be there again, also planning to be at Coimbatore on 19th and 20th, will be taking my YBX there and will rent the suit

Hi! Folks I am new to this forum, but have heard a lot about it.

Some quick info on what Apex Racing can do for new riders around on the race track.

              1. Not every guy who plays cricket in the street will end up playing IPL / For India, we play for just pleasure . Similarly not every one on the race track has end up in race. we can push our limits just to enjoy the sport I have hardly participated in any races. I am very regular on the track.

              2. Apex Racing currently has 10 Honda Stunners 125cc with basic modifications for the track and few 160 cc bikes. theses bikes will be available for rental use at Kari track from 20th FEB 2010..

              3. We do rent out racing suits and boots (limited numbers)

              4. As per new regulation from FMSCI, New riders without track experience will not be permitted to race. There would only two class to complete going forward i.e Rookie and Open class. Any one below the age of 23 will be a rookie and above 23 open class. for the both the class the new riders will not be allowed to race directly
              a. The riders has to have past experience of racing (anywhere in the world)
              or
              b. Should have attended a riding school

This will apply for one make race too.

              5. Apex Racing would be starting its racing academy shortly. Keep a watch on them

              6. Finally Apex Racing will also rent out race prepared bikes for National / other championship.

                1) How can I practise because I am living in INDORE (Madhya Pradesh) and because there is no track in Indore. Can you suggests me is there any Tracks near to INDORE or any tracks in Madhya Pradesh.

                - Currently there is no Race track around Indore, but in a matter of year you will have a good track close to Indore at Pithampu owned by NATRip ( I am not sure if racing would be allowed there)

                2) As the FMSCI and MMSC sites are not updating so how could I get the Information regarding Racing events. Even the yamaha, honda and Tvs Websites are not updating on Time, so please tell me how to get regularly updated.

Yes you will be in open class that includes all riders. Basically a rider categorized in open class cannot participate in Rookie class, but a rookie class rider can participate in Open class.

I hope I have clarified your doubts. I am not from when will this regulations come into effect. This information was provided to us by one the official of FMSCI.

                      Anil

If not for racing, people who would want to practice, anybody who have the interest in bikes and racing can come and join. Lets ride and once who ever is confident then people can race right?
