and in last race Lorenzo was more concerned abt taking second...else he might have challenged pedrosa.....
True, Pedrosa's approach and mental ability has always been questioned..Give him a clean start and he will just run away; something that he likes to do very often. A challenger running at the same pace will make him hand over the position.
But of late, his body language and aggression levels seem to have changed. Maybe he is more comfortable with the feel that he is getting from the bike or something else. But for sure, Pedrosa's not looking the same.

I liked his approach at Laguna prior to the fall. He was going all out. Wanted to see the battele between Lorenzo and Pedrosa. I have a hunch that this is not the end.
Never argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and then beat you with experience.

well said. i mean the king was lying in gravel with his bone sticking out 7 weeks back, most of the human kind would be praying to be able to walk again after something of that sort within a couple of months, n he is fighting for the podium and doing quiet well given the circumstances.

i read an article today about quality of Moto GP talent, which stated that the fact the king finished ahead of hayden, spies, edwards, capirossi, dovizioso, angelis(all considered to be the cream of the crop) with a broken leg and hurt shoulder tells the state.

you can chop this bloke's leg off and he will still be seriously fast around the track and beating him is the toughest job.

cant agree less to kingkong, alien he is...!!
      Lots to do still...

+10000 mate, Rossi was unlucky that he got injured when there were 3 back to back races, missed too many to contest for championship......Hope in the remaining season, he shows Lorenzo who is the boss,

I was out on my solo leh trip hence missed the races. Which I completed successfully.

Suren: didn't my pilgrimage work already?

          • I watched the start till pedrosa's fall, and Lorenzo taking up the lead and opening up a margin, and thought fish, another boring race.

I switched off the TV and went to sleep. My friend called to tell me he would treat me to an egg-roll for reminding him to watch the race. I asked what's the big deal, he says Rossi finished on the podium. I was like -- WHAT????

Will watch highlights. Amazing what he's achieving. And I agree about Pedrosa with Niranjan bro. He's getting stronger. Earlier on he could ride fantastic for short bursts, but the consistency was missing (maybe not entirely his fault). Now-a-days, he rides hard and gives strong chase to fast lap times.

I had for a moment though it would be a repeat of 2009. Remember how hard Pedrosa rode in Laguna in 2009? My dad was like -- 'gaatiye chaalacche..!' (a bengali phrase for someone riding extremely hard and fast).

@ Sheel- I don't drink, but a soft drink would do fine. Look, Spies battled him atleast... That's definitely worth a cold drink....

EDIT: ^^ whoops. My friend told me Spies had battled Rossi for 3rd place (it was Dovi actually). Guess he was a soft case of amnesia.
@ Sheel bro- your beer/soft drink's safe. For now.

                • Heart says Fiat Yamaha. But till now all the probabilities and so called reliable sources say otherwise

Did anybody read The Doctor's post-race briefings? I liked his last line: "You cannot say nothing to a rider whose worst result is second...."

Aerated drinks, even I am not too fond of.

It would be great if we all could watch a race at someplace together, but it a very difficult feat.
