^^K Rajani right? BTW it seems California Superbike School (CSS) had arranged for the track meet yesterday for its students, yes K Rajani, Alisha Abdullah and many others were its studentsOriginally posted by avinrichards View Postanother one from my side..

EDIT: Here is the related link http://www.wheelsunplugged.com/viewn...px?newsid=5637, the Ducati rider (TT Varadarajan, Somebody-big-in-Preethi) was actually a sponsor and is taking a initiative to make this happen in India.Last edited by EL LOCO DIABLO; 03-01-2010, 05:03 PM.I'm too intelligent to the unintended, and too dumb for the obvious.

Thats not Rajini. That looks like Satish Kumar. he was first among the Indians in the last round of the MRF challenge.Originally posted by EL LOCO DIABLO View Post^^K Rajani right? Everything in your position is good man, but if you could have kept your right leg little more close to your tank it would have been betterOriginally posted by EL LOCO DIABLO View Post
EDIT: I'm kind of sitting odd? Is this correct? Or should i lean to the front a bit more? And is my right leg proper or should it be more closer to the bike? Sorry for the plethora of questions this was my first proper track day, i need to get as much info about it as i can.
And from this pic I feel your head position is more inline with bike center line than with pelvis center line
This is needed for better view during cornering i.e you can see large distance during cornering clearly and have better exit too
All in all very good for first track day

Confused with the leathers, last i remember Rajani too had sort of the same leathersOriginally posted by sajiv View PostThats not Rajini. That looks like Satish Kumar. he was first among the Indians in the last round of the MRF challenge.
@Noel: Thanks for the advice, i knew i was not sitting properly but was too scared of losing my rear trying to take a different position, my rear was all over the place yesterday, really freaky even when i kept the throttle pinned throughout the corner!I'm too intelligent to the unintended, and too dumb for the obvious.

To that I will just add a small request to everyone that please post pictures in resolution 800*600 else it will become very heavy. Now please bring on more pictures.Originally posted by karthik_R View PostWould suggest ppl with pics to start off another thread instead of posting it here.

Yeah it happens at the start but once you practice few times it will be normal. But I have to say yours was a very good effort though and sorry forgot to type in last post itself. You have to drop the shoulder little downwards towards which you are leaning. In the pic its raised little higher if you can observe it.Originally posted by EL LOCO DIABLO View PostConfused with the leathers, last i remember Rajani too had sort of the same leathers

Yeah that was one of the first things i noticed when i saw the pic when we were waiting for our second session, but like i said earlier the rear was extremely annoying (rather scary) to control when i biased my body weight even a little onto my front wheel, there were far too many instances when the rear actually slid a few centimeters!Originally posted by noel046 View PostYeah it happens at the start but once you practice few times it will be normal. But I have to say yours was a very good effort though and sorry forgot to type in last post itself.
