      Great. I still don't know my status. If i join i will just join on Saturday evening.

      Riders from Bangalore come up with the exact plan

      1. What time you guys are leaving bangalore ?
      2. What is the meeting point ?
      3. What is the meeting time ?
      4. Where you are staying at chennai on saturday night
      5. What time you are leaving chennai for Bangalore

      If anyone is not having proper riding gear i request them not to join. Yes you are most welcome to join to watch.

          for the 1st,2nd and 3rd question ! avin is the guy for the answers as for the 4th mde and arjun need a roomie to share the hotel room at tht paramount inn i think vl book it in advance u can stay with us and share it ! it comes upto Rs 330 each let me knw if ur interested

            There's also a resort close to the track, if anybody is interested. I don't remember it's name, but will let you guys know once I do. If I join you guys I plan to stay there.

                Guys, from John, i understand that around 15 guys are coming down from Bangalore ??? Phew, that quite a huge number... Some one from Bangy take the responsibility of organizing everything like rooms and ride timings. I will advise you guys to ride in Groups and to ride in day time. You all can make your self available on Saturday so that you guys get plenty of rest. The track is very demanding physically and psychologically. I presume there will a lot of first timers too. All the first timers are requested to enter in to the track only after briefing is done by some one who is not new to track.. If you guys arrive late, kindly wait for some of the experienced guys to come in to the pits for briefing.

                Never try to push your self, especially if you are a virgin to the track. Try to take it slowly and smoothly

                I will try to make myself available a bit early than my normal schedule of arrival. If you guys need any help, I will try to do my best.

                Also pls carry atleast a couple of water cans with you. You will find it getting emptied in no time.



                I will confirm the track availability once again. You guys can also can call MMSC office and check for the track availability.

                  I am flying down to Chennai this weekend (27th-28th Feb) for a track day. I'll be reaching Chennai airport on Friday night (Saturday early morning) at 12:40am.
                  I wanted to know what would prove to be cheaper, staying at a hotel close to the airport or finding a hotel near the track?
                  Do you guys have any suggestions for cheap accommodation at any of these places?
                  Also how far is the track from the Chennai airport and how can I get there especially if I decide to find a hotel near the track on Friday night?

                    Cool.! things seem to be rolling .

                    ok now . I will call the Hotel once we have a fixed number of people only.
                    and as john said it would be fun if we all stayed together.

                      Sagar, the track is about 12-13 kms away. Commute time is anyone's guess

                      Take a prepaid taxi from the airport to get to the track, and at night it shouldn't take you more than 30 min by my estimates.

                      You do have some good cheap hotels, and hotels/resorts at the higher end as well. Paramount was mentioned some pages back. I stayed at Le Waterina a few kms down the road and it was a pretty good place, but pricey.
