            Muhahahaha! Go Rossi!
Good to see that Stoner has finshed after such a long time 3 continuous races on the DNF status must really suck.
Mind, if I still can't speak - if I were racing, it would've been DNES. Did Not Even Start!

Stoner wins at phillip island, danny DNF, rossi 2nd and Hayden just lost that 2nd place to rossi finishing 3rd.. boring race... waiting for SBK later this afternoon... bayliss may clinch the 2008 title today.. if for one Mr. HAGA.

^^^ not really boring. The 250 rookies gave us what we needed. Good to see Stoner back though it was just because Rossi started 12th on the grid.

Yeah it was boring if u consider Stoner started from pole and took a holeshot, the FUN though was on 12th on the grid. But....

The race was pretty interesting i think..

The champ fought his way up to 2nd, passing more than half the grid with the likes of lorenzo, toseland, dovi, shinya, cappirossi & finally Nicky Hayden in the last lap

Stoner won.. great..starting from pole.. boring...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

                      Thanks to Stoner

But I thank Stoner for giving Rossi some competition. If Stoner is not there then the first position will always be fixed for Rossi. He can start 16th and still win the race. Only some one like Stoner poses a threat for Rossi. I am sure without Stoner, Rossi too would have succumbed to the boring and FIXED race outcomes.
                      Enna Rascalla. Mind it !!!

I agree.. Stoner is a worthy champion & a worthy rival to Rossi. Stoner has done fantastic job in 07 & 08 but he still has to do much more than winning 1 title.. but he has definitely proved he is stronger & better than any other rival of Rossi.

Yeah. Stoner will take another season or so before he can really bear all the mental games that revolve around Rossi. When Rossi is on the tail, any rider tends to give up under pressure. Stoner needs to and I am sure he will train himself better to overcome this pressure that Rossi exerts on his rivals. There are some regular moves that Rossi uses and Stoner should concentrate on them. He has the fastest machine. This year his hand injury too added to his loss. We know what Stoner is capable of at the Luguna although he then semi-crashed out there. Rossi there used the same moved that he once used against Biaggi in the last corner of the last lap. He came inside Biaggi and literally "pushed" him really wide off the track. Not that I support Biaggi. He deserved that anyway .

Well, Stoner's hand injury might be an issue but I won't consider it. Rossi rode to victory last year with a fractured right wrist, lorenzo rode with both ankles broken this year, so did pedrosa with his leg injury & don't forget Nicky with a broken ankle.. Pedrosa and Nicky were both using crutches to walk.. so Stoner is in much better shape than all of these...

Yeah.. Laguna showed what stoner can do, it also showed that he doesn't like if hard passes are made on him.. racing in yester-years has been much harsh than what he experienced in laguna, so he has to learn to live with that too.. I don't think u can learn a good racer's moves specially someone like Rossi.. he takes his time in every race before making his move.. last year Rossi failed badly in passing stoner in Barcelona.. but he learned & changed his tactics this time!!

It looks like 2009 will be very entertaining for all of us motogp fans...

                            Cheers!
