          Monster Energy Drink Sponsor Valentino Rossi for a whopping 2.5 million u.s $ . Kawasaki and poor John Hopkins lost the deal.

          This would also make way to the Tech 3 Yamaha to get the Monster sign on their bikes next year.
          James Toseland already has the Monster sign on his helmets...

              the kawasaki guys are testing the 09 bike in australia with oliver jaque.......there is a possibility as they running as a privateer team with aspar.. dorna ceo wants to pull the team to the court as the deal with the factory was upto 2011...... hope they run in the season...

                  All of you who were worried that Melandri and Hopkins were left hung out to dry this season, here's somewhat of a breather for you. There is a very good chance that both riders will be riding for Gresini Honda in 2009. It seems Gresini has already offered the Italian a seat and has similar plans for Hopper.

                    where are the bikes coming from?

                    gresini has 4 bikes in their stable. if they let out 2 then what will elias and de angeles do when they have to swap bikes in case it rains????

                        Good question. I think its best we wait for Gresini to make an official announcement. If Hopper and Marco are indeed going to ride for Gresini, as quoted in Overdrive magazine, then I am sure they have more bikes in their stable.

                          OVERDRIVE??? that is not the best source that i would rely on. and HONDA are in no position to lease motorcycles to any Privateer. especially with the current economic crisis. unless Dorna does something about it.. MOTOGP is going DownHill.
