Motor, its good for the Kawa's that they wouldn't have to spend on MotoGP too as they found it pretty difficult to compete with others(Bcoz they hardly won any race)...!!

Hopper comes with huge backing from american company Monster. but Melandri might just make it to the grid. this is because Dorna does not want to loose Melandri. If, they do loose Melandri to WSBK. then it is for sure buy buy MotoGP.

Asper might just have a seat for one of them. also the word is that team SCOT might run an extra Honda alongside 250 upgrade Y. Takahashi. lets see. less than a month left for all this to unveil.

And Donington gets funds for revamping its facilities in order to host the F1 British GP..
              Everyone wants to host F1
If a MotoGP venue, gets discarded in the process, no one seems to be complaining

Correct everyone wants to host a F1. why?: more spectators, more business, more media coverage, more marketing, more attractions etc etc. F1 is a huge spectacle mind you. and any circut would just love to host a f1. look what is happening in singapore, china, and the middle east.. even india may have a f1 circut in the the near future.
BUT!!! if any of these circuts dont keep the money rolling in for the F1 / MotoGP organisers then they will be axxed.

Dorna the promoters of motogp are not thinking straigt and certainly not thinking about the participants, the teams the sponsors. they want only Profits. and they will do anything to gain that. irrespective of the sport's 100+ year culture and heritage.

fans are the last thing they care about. TV coverage is more important than anything else.
i only hate motoGP since they went away from the 500 era.

                y change from 500 to 990? in 2002: WSBK. + Honda

                y from 990 to 800? WSBK + Honda

                y no 250 from 2011 and 600 prototypes?: WSBK:WSS + Honda

y no Suzuka but Montegi: HONDA

y the f888 Honda dint pull out of MotoGP.?: simple. no honda no motogp...

which ever way you look at it, they all point to the success of WSBK in Europe and the fact that Honda are controlling MotoGP. the entire push on 4 stroke was a Honda idea. and HOnda would not want spend money and build 2 strokes. because of "environmental concerns" (bulls***)

back to the point. donnington could not host F1 race only because the facility it provided were not suitable for providing a spectacle on TV. given the fact that the circuit itself it too narrow to allow overtaking (official excuse) they are doing all that it takes so they can have a F1race too, just like sepang for instance. but then again. there is always Brands Hatch.

One good new is Rossi is rocking the timesheets....even Lorenzo is good.

My guess is this year Pedrosa will be very strong and he is dying for the title and even dovizioso will emerge as a great rider.

That's what I expected last year. But somehow he lost his touch and confidence after the big crash(forgot which track he crashed)
Let's see what happens this time.

I know but last year he was also not comfortable with michellin...so he switched to bridgestones in the middle of the season.......

I think this year he is gonna rock as he is very much comfortable with bridgestone and the new RC212v.....

                        • if you simoncelli fans are lucky, you might just see him taking part in the first 2 rounds in the World SuperBike championship.

marco, has expressed his desire to race for the factory team, which will make its debut on 1st of March in phillip Island.

Marco along with Nakano, got a chance to test the new RSV4 during the recent test and lapped just a second slower than Biaggi & Nakano.

                          fingers crossed.

                          • Dovi on board the RC212V and hopefully a more consistent performance from Lorenzo will definitely spruce up the 09 championship. However, I feel it's again going to boil down to Rossi, Stoner and Pedrosa as far as the fight for the title is concerned and now that Rossi has tasted blood again after two agonizing years of drought, he is THE Man to beat.

                            • I would love to Rossi, Stoner back in action fighting it out on the track. Stoner would be eager to settle his scores with him.
