Well I think Stoner is up to his best now after the 3 race Gap. Rossi wrapping up yet another Championship. Now the town will all be painted Blue if Spies, along with Rossi can grasp the 2009 WSBK crown

Luck or No Luck...facts say...Rossi still rules
This year he does, its kinda relief tho
    Next year maybe tuff

next year would be really interesting...maybe not much at the front...but surely at the back of the field...Simoncelli, Melandri, Aoyama coming on satellite teams...Spies coming to Motogp. The front runners are still the same...i dont expect dovisioso or Lorenzo to change themselves
So maybe its going to be the similar stuff..but again..the first few races would make the most impact. how will stoner be against the Yamaha duo...and will pedrosa still be the only honda...struggling behind the two rivals...or would we have it the other way round???

        • The DOCTOR Cures All!!!

Consistency is synonymous to ROSSI. The way he has been racing keeping his cool inspite of tough fight from Lorenzo has been a treat to watch.

          • It has been a real treat to watch this season. Racing at its best. We are lucky to be seeing this four/three (whichever way you see) way battle for the title.

Next year promises to be another cracker

            • An ok race after the horrid Estoril race ! Good to see Casey not succumb to Rossi s pressure ! Rossi had said he kept off taking any risks but i guess rossi s pressure tactics failed completely this time on Casey. I just loved the slides , that is what i love to see in bike racing guys showcasing immense talent on bike control and stuff . Sbk Imola was a cracker of a show that way ! The way haga n fabrizio controlled that Ducati sliding , fishtailing wow it wwas jusstt awesome ( could nt resist to say it here).
They hardly showed Colin on sunday ! he must have seriously had some fun sliding the bike even if nicky had a good race or atleast raced it would have been a pleasure to watch .
It was a dumb ass move by Lorenzo ! Rainbow guy has good results after his contract was not renewed , funny fellow. Philip island is just a dream place to ride ! I just love it ! And yeah did any of guys see the ride around by Troy . The commentator was finding it difficult to say Motogp facts abput him . He tried his best to avoid WSBK achievements by repeatedly saying about his Valencia win . IT was real funny !

                    • Adding to what Suren mentioned...

Stoner sliding that Ducati, setting hot laps again n again showed us how brilliantly he rides that GP9!

And not to mention, when traffic was held up behind Toni Elias and Kalio & co. were finding it difficult to find a way thru! Colin came with his usual cool temper n smooth ride, took only 3 corners to pass Elias and never was challenged again!

And my take is Ben Spies is goin to be the new Colin in 2010 ! His number 5 in championship is under threat ! DOvi and Colin would probably join those guys fighting for seventh !

I suspect that Ben might even be able to put the 4th position in threat...where the top runners think that the last position is 4th and theres no one behind...Ben will be the one knocking the door that time

Sure yes ! That would most probably be Dani , Just have a look at some of the races . HE complains a lot about the bike but is not that much off the pace ,In most of the cases where he ends up 3 rd or 4 th ! He just gives up . Once in the race he s leading then runs wide( his fault ) then thats it ! Race over ! come back to the press and say not enough corner entry speed bla bla ! Dani boy better be careful .... the Texan terror is on its way !

                            • I have still have doubts because Ben's last appearance in motoGP wasn't that impressive as far as I remember.
But his WSBK resume is very impressive

Dani has been a cry baby since his last year's big crashes after which honda made a surprise switch to Bridgestones. Which also in some way resulted in Nicky leaving Honda (I might be wrong)

                              • But, the point to note is this time Spies is on Yamaha and with Yamaha he bas been awesome. Last time he came to ride in Motogp was on Suzuki. Now, I am not very sure if Suzuki riders are not good or the machines are not fast enough. But, they somehow have the money to run the team without any significant positions in the last couple of years, except for once or twice. But, still I don't think Spies is gonna touch the top four in the Motogp. WSBK and Motogp are two different games. He might replace Colin in the standings. That's it.

Honda needs someone aggresive. Dani and Dovi are very complacent. Dovi still wants to put a fight but seems like his machine is not yet to the mark. Dani on the other hand has no fighting instinct. If he is at front he would try to push. Else...bhaad mein jaye...3rd position is enough for me. He has potential but not the attitude. Honda, please get someone like Lorenzo. He wants to win. Dani wants to complete the race.
                                Enna Rascalla. Mind it !!!
