You have a valid point there...but what makes Ben's impression change for me is that the bike was a GSV-R (already underpowered).
Suzuki is no where near the pace of the M1 or the Desmosdicci. The debute of the american on a MotoGP machine at indi 2008 GP was concluded with a 6th place in the wet...that makes me think how good will he be in the dry if he completes the race.
Managing 6th on a GSVR in the 4 stroke era that too in a debute is not something normal.
Im counting on the Kid to make a mark as a full time rider
Just because you haven't seen it doesnt mean its impossible...expect the unexpected.

    • ^^Yeah Can't compare the competency of the bikes here. GSV-R is far inferior to M1 and GP9.
I really pity Capirex and Vermulen for having to ride these. They are much more capable riders than how they find themselves currently positioned in points tally.

Heart still says Rossi but the way Lorenzo is going I think it is just a matter of another season unless he repeats his stupidity like this year

                hahaha...Very True
but I would like the young lad to be patient enough to wait till rossi leaves two wheels

                • i Hope there are 18 riders next year. now a days even a 2007 machine you score points. maybe they should merge 250's with the 800's. like GT class racing.. or even better bring back the 500's 2 strokes. ofcourse HOnda won't compete...

Thats one suggestion that ll never workout ! I hope they follow what king kenny had suggested i.e. to lease 1000 cc production engines powered to match the 800 prototypes ! leaving the team to build their own chassis and other parts !
                    BAYLISSTIC !!!!

Personally i wouldnt go with that...it would reduce the exclusivity of the MotoGP class. I mean I wouldn't want any production model to be a part of the grid in any way

                      • well then ! Suzuki will walk away ! then Ducati ! then there ll be 4 bikes ! 2 Honda s and 2 Yamahas left ! ! the whole point is to bring in more entries and even make satellite teams capable of winning ! any suggestions ?
                        BAYLISSTIC !!!!

                        • Bump! MotoGP FP1 going on currently.
                          Stoner
                          Lorenzo
                          Rossi
With nothing much to differentiate between their lap timings

                          Edit:
                          Lorenzo
                          Stoner
                          Dani
                          Rossi

Why do I see stoner coming back to the 2007 form. If thats the case...it would be safer not to put your money on either 99,46 or 27. Cant say who will spoil the party
