@sheelpriye -During the 600cc superbike (super-sport)races around the chennai track, the avg laptime is a 1min 55 secs. So thats some math to consider to understand how quick my bike was.
TVS racing did an awesome job by breaking the 2 mins barrier during race 2 by 0.15 secs. Jagan did an awesome job for TVS.
Our strategy during the race was to just pull away from pack for the first 2-3 laps and just maintain the lead without abusing the engine anymore. The engine was also detuned over the practise session (while we clocked 1:58) to keep things under good control.
I'm delighted that I could hold the candle to new laptimes of an indian bike in this country. Group B class has seen new standards and all the teams are bloody fast now over the 2009 season.
