I think there is a target market for bajaj bikes there....Originally posted by nagoo View Postwho will buy bajaj bike in developed markets ... where both powerful and modern bikes comes at pretty decent prices... and moreover the infrastructure and roads also better in those countries
food industries can use these bikes for home delivery
... a good cycle can cost around 20K rs. there .. why not use faster mode to deliver having fuel efficiency of 100 km/l (europe =
).

What a joke!Originally posted by NewsReaper View PostBajaj Auto already owns substantial stake in the Austrian firm and has introduced super luxury bikes from KTM in India.
I'm not aware of the 2-wheeler market situation in Europe, but the P135 is a good bike to launch from the stable.
My views on the YZF-R15 V2.0: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/news/198...tml#post699240
The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

Would importing those motorcycles from Europe attract the same tax as CBU's? I'm sounding nerd, but the point is, the quality of Bajaj motorcycles in that market should be far superior isn't it?Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

there is a BIG (in upper case) market for <33bhp bikes in UK, least to say.Originally posted by nagoo View Postwho will buy bajaj bike in developed markets ... where both powerful and modern bikes comes at pretty decent prices... and moreover the infrastructure and roads also better in those countries
Sorry but what you mean? Why would you import a bajaj from outside? but if you talking about importing to europe, its gonna be almost no tax (that's 6% on domestic MRP on new bikes in UK)Originally posted by aargee View PostWould importing those motorcycles from Europe attract the same tax as CBU's? If you take Indian online media seriously, you should immediately see a psychiatrist. No, seriously you should.Originally posted by MT01 View PostGive me an example of the super luxury bikes.

@news - if bajaj does launch p135 in Europe, it wont be less than a lakh rupees but hopefully still be cheaper than cbr150, cbf125, r125, aprilia RS125, Hyuosung 125, Vespa 125, and Derbi GPR50. Gosh, can't imagine MCN reporter reviewing p135. they were not too kind on Koreans.Last edited by pulsater; 08-04-2010, 05:41 AM.www.motorcykle.in - The lighter side of motorcycling

thumbs up to bajaj.......P135 is a more a better product for Europe (eastern Europe especially) than P150 or 180 as far as power output is concerned....
Good move. Bajaj had to start in Europe with something and why not with brand Pulsar's one of the most innovative engines

2: this may also need to lowering in the quality of other foreign manufacturers, when they realize that all they have to compete against is a sub-standard bike.

1. We have certain standard at xbhp here MT01. We follow them and keep this place a tidy place....and perhaps thats why @saj pointed out.
2. @MT01 You mean that to compete with a new manufacturer established manufactures will drop their quality standards? Please elaborate if you meant so--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
