Send the Pulsar Mania Ads to MCN and then get their feedback... As it is.. Pulsars will soon be launching in Europe..Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

Arre tu kyon reply karta hai mere posts kaa?? Stay away. Please excuse.Originally posted by veryhiphop View Post+1...they thing increasing one BHP is an major performance upgrade...not all this...
My dear friend.. AFAIK.. HuNaK is having AC-CDI.. This is Alternating Current - Capacitive Discharge Ignition..So the CDI gets the current from Alternater directly. It becomes immaterial for the bike whther to have maintainance intensive battery.. or to have maintainance free battery. The battery is there to run tail lamps, horn and to start the bike.Originally posted by saj View Posti sometimes wonder why people associate performance with engine alone??
dont you think maintenance free battery is a performance upgrade from the previous battery??
If the bike had DC - CDI.. or Inductive Discharge Ignition... then it would have made some contribution to performance. And for that matter.. if bike had DC electricals.. then it would have made some contri to performance.
Right even if the bike is not having battery.. Bike wont loose performance.
He talked about Power and Performance.. Did he really say.. Increase in braking performance? ??dont you think that disc brake at the rear is a performance upgrade for breaking??
How much difference is it going to make in performance.... Little.. I would say... and Not HUGE. Yes the dynamics indeed improve. Yes appreciate that they could atleast think of giving it.. But I bet the price with all these stuff added.. they will price it similar to Dazzler.and dont you think tubeless tire is also the performance upgrade for the tires??
think about it bro

What I can conclude form your post is that You still need to fill the distilled water in the maintenance free battery.Originally posted by inflammable View PostMy dear friend.. AFAIK.. Coming back to topic...!
Hunk is a great bike already..these add ons (if its true) have just made it little ahead of the competition and but not to stay in the competition.
LEDs, Digital console were kind of the things that were missed in HH's 150cc bikes being this as only major difference while comparing with other bikes for attracting mass customers.
AFAIK...14.4Ps is what HH & H can milk out from this particular engine block without loosing its refinement and smoothness.
These bikes have been doing well since they were launched. These upgrade will help the prospective buyers with better choice to go for.2007 - Hero Honda CBZ Xtreme
2008 - Yamaha YZF R15
2009 - Hero Honda CBZ Xtreme
2013 - KTM 390 Duke
2017 - Yamaha FZ25

Hunk Upgrade
Dear Friends,
By looking at the video carefully, I want to say that HH have done it again !
First they copied the engine of the unicorn and now they have copied the instrument cluster of the Dazzler.
The only difference is the colour of illumination !
HH have to be innovative, they could have come up with something unique in the instrumentation just like they did with the ZMR.
Rear discs though are a welcome option and I agree that the Hunk looks better compared to the Dazzler (atleast to me).

It is not "copying" but it is called technology sharing, part sharing. etc in a joint venture. Don't forget - Hero Honda is half Honda.
how are those things gonna help only in an RD and not in a Hunk?Originally posted by abhi_underdog View PostIf yamaha were to launch rd350 with discs, tubeless tyres and maintenance free battery i would definitely call it an upgrade but this is definitely not an upgrade. Hope you get the point
p.s. my opinion no offense meant
I am not trying to defend HH here but am surprised at that statement as it is.
After reading those coments on the MCN website for Hunk ad I was thinking "let them keep thinking that all Indians think of the 150 cc as powerful bikes and in a few years time we'll surprise them with awesome big machines..."Originally posted by payeng View PostLike the BINGO TV ads?
Its obvious that the video is not a TV Ad.. but the Europeans might be thinking that other Indian bike ads must be like these only.. Sheesh

We'll get in a few years what took them several decades.

I always liked Hunk. Its probably one of the best looking 150ccs to me degraded by some typical 'Honda' coloring job in its last so-called upgrade.
Nonetheless, this one seems to be a good job but the more important factor here is the price hike which this bike would go through.
Considering Dazzlers example, this bike would be priced similarly since all the upgraded specs seem similar.
If the above case becomes true....it would again display Honda's way of doing things- Bring a 'little lesser product'* than the competition, price it similar to them. After a while add the the latest norms making the product come to today's expectations...and sell it at a premium.
It has been decades since Honda lead the show in terms of offerings.
Nonetheless, looks like a good enough upgrade (considering what has been the company's norms of late) making the bike look better and more muscular. Hope they price it sensibly.

I think its a good enuf upgrade to bring it at par with the current crop of 150's. atleast much better than d previous HH sticker upgrades. but i have a feeling that this might end up eating into the sales of its sibling d cbz-x as its more loaded with features with d same engine. the features d upgrade provides covers all features that a prospective 150cc owner wud like in his bike

This is indeed very very very good from HH.. can't believe still some people are complaining
this is HH we are talking about, from where we have been witnessing endless sticker upgrades. But then everything has to end at some point, better late than never!! Would be nice to see a bump in power output as well.. without significant bump in price (I know, i'm asking for too much

What I meant to say was ..
When any new feature is introduced it should bring some substantial improvement in the existing product. To be more precise ... hunk already has pretty gud brakes for a bike that barely goes beyond 100kmph ...same with the battery....
hope that you get my point now

If you take current sales figures, like for example last months sales.. then probably P150 would have sold 3 times that of FZ- series.Originally posted by sooraj_vs View PostYou are talking about the no. of bikes on road, and he was talking about the present sales figures...
