    Update: Quantum Core is history

    Hero Honda has ditched the "Quantum Core" stuff in the latest/refreshed 2010 upgrade of the Super Splendor.

    Instead of the "Quantum Core", its "ASFS" which is pasted on its side panels.

            Quantum Core - Originally means the most optimal smallest possible unit of quantity of machinery used for deriving the performance.
            It means a bikini of an engine does what it can do best in its minimalistic form.

            This was supposed to be a jazzy acronym to signify that the engine uses state of art technology to be minimalistic. Ofcourse neither the super learned and enthu us, nor the stupid dimwit customer knew what it meant! Just that it sounded cool, and resembled to another state of the art term coming from the world of Computers, which should mean it is synonym with Hi-tech!!! That Sells!!!

                the old slopers of the splendor were good.I guess the quantum core had issues,as i have seen the super splendor engines smoking quite often.
