      Surely they would cry and give up and take sanyas, but this is not done till yet. We'll have to wait and watch and than all SBKs lovers dream will fullfill....Cheers

            yeah, this treaty is in pipeline for so long that now these guys have to do something about it..

              The news is good, but the only thing to be seen is as to how this will affect the pricing of Japanese SBK's in India, & from when will it come into effect ? Let's pray & hope for the BEST.

                  You are asking for the impossible , they'll take their own sweet time, and with lots of things going on (CWG, Maoists, terrorist Attacks), do u think the govt will take up this issue that easily? i don't think so...
                  Every BIKE has a lot of speed in it. The trick is getting the speed out of it.

                      actually this treaty has been in pipeline from the past 5-6 years... and there is a lot of pressure on the indian government from the super powers to reduce the duties on all kinds of trade so we might see some progress in this front... moreover the two governments are meeting like after every 5-6 months to work things out...

                              Whoa! Get a hold of yourself boys, its not gonna happen so soon. But then dreaming won't hurt.
                              I am/will be looking at a used CBR1000RR in 3 years time. Probably the duties would have come down by then and even the used bikes will be a lot more affordable.
                              I am thinking 4L.

                              Wishful thinking, perhaps!
                              All riders fall; some get back on, some don't, some can't...
