Finally, we will have sportbikes in the 600 category. I'm sure there will be many takers for these. Hope the Japs follow suit too...

And the ONLY thing worrying me is the after-sales.
    You get the point?? :D

      Dont worry about that.

I'm sure if Hyosong bike comes to india & with a price tag of around 4-5lacs nobody would prefer 1000cc bikes which above 10 lacs.. dis is the kind of bike indian market needs .. definitely honda & Yamaha will think of bringing theirs as well..However i spoke to Wing honda official & they are not thinking of 600cc bikes now in india due to govt. law of not importing bikes under 800 cc. Wonder if this true then how come Hyosong & Kawasaki bringing this to india.. Lets wait & watch!!!

I dont think this bike will affect the literbike market. Afterall this puny gt650 cant even come close to a fully loaded r1.

                  o o...220 kmph+ ...CB1000R goes upto 230-240 :P:P
                  Cool re

I too dont this would affect litrebike market..But ya success of Hyosung would be keenly observed by their Japanese counterparts..The sales of Hyusung 650, if sustainable, would definitely lure the Japs to the segment

this wont affect the litre bike market. The takers for litre bike market are completely different.

So true & thats what we want, dont we?

Lure those mean bike makers to India with some sense of low pricing like in US & so.

I dont think so. I guess graduating directly from a 220cc to 1000cc wont do us good, its better to go like : 200-600-1000-so on...

Logically i do agree. But there are examples right here on xbhp who jumped straight to a litre class :P, and other factors like 'parents' and money should be in our favour too to jump from 200-600-1000 :P

yeah but "normal" job person like most of us would like to have a sub 5lac bike with a decent power output in the range of 70-80 bhp before jumping directly on the saddles of a litre or a litre+ bike....

i think if this bike is launched in India it will find many buyers.... all it needs a decent enough A.S.S..... btw its ass looks good....

Why is all discussion about the 650?

Nobody interested in the ST7 cruiser?
