Hyosung is not in business as prominently as say Yamaha or Suzuki....but they were making parts for Suzuki sincne long and if I am not wrong they (Hyosung) made SV650 motors for them for very long. Its only last year that their partnership ended. They had the non-competence pact which expired this year only... And as far as word of mouth goes, few of the key persons who designed the GTR650R were in the team that designed Suzuki SV650 mill

this explains why suzuki has such a pathetic reputation.

Dude, I wanted to confirm something.
BI says these twin brake setups (on both 250 & 650) are bad at braking, and they can't even compare to Ninja 250's single front disc setup.

This was 1-2 years ago. Again, in this bike's test they said that the brakes have "spongy feel".

                    So, Are these guys right?

Yepp , Braking on the Hyosungs are very very mediocre .
But not bad by any means. Better than most desi bikes with twin discs in the market.
The R15 or the Ninja's braking is awesome . But that wouldn stop me from buying a Hyosung.
Everything comes at a price , when ur getting this bike at 4L , then i dont mind a lil bit of adjustment/compromise.

About ABS-- DOes it ever guarantee you not falling?
No right .Its the proper usage that makes the difference.

I agree strongly with AMG..they are not. Ya, they might not be at par with the Japs but they look cool at the given price band...dont they

Yes, you're right. The performance to price ratio is still great! And I believe we'll be able to mod it, once it is launched.
Because, after N250's Indian launch, lots of accessories & aftermarket stuff showed up on DSG, etc. Sprockets, windscreens, silencers, and what not!

ABS can save lives. I know the extra 1L might not sound "worth it", but I'm open to both sides. Let them be launched, so we know the on road prices...

I agree with AMG. Hyosungs look almost on par with competition...
