Just wondering.. Any idea on how many P220, ZMA and ZMRs are sold in a month? If you had known the numbers.. you would not have said this...

A 200+ cc cant set the sales chart on fire for TVS... Take it or leave it..

There are two red stripes....first one still seem to be the numberplate light....
and second one is the reflector....

I m not saying,it will sale in great numbers....but it will definitely give the great profits to TVS....look what pulsar 220(crab version) is doing for Bajaj...it still dont have a competition(ZMR is not a worthy competitor),and its enjoying its cult status.
It seems, you are encouraging low capacity bike in India...and I wasnt that rude, that you would say some thing to me like that.
I am never against small bikes,Those are the real sellers...but what is the harm in bringing bigger bikes.I am going for a bigger bike in February next year, what will I do,if there is no options??
                    Its just my opinion....

I dint felt anything like that. If just bringing out a 150cc bike (apache) after the pulsar is a copying then almost all bike manufacturers are copying. What things do you think the tvs has copied from the pulsar except the twin spark plug.?? Maybe you dont know but tvs was the first t introduce a clip on handle bar. It was the first & last (as of now) to bring in a 160cc. But surprisingly after even copying form bajaj the A160 outperforms the P150 & same is with A180 & P180. Doesnt it??

From a normal customer point of view.. that has been the case. There wasn't been much innovation in the design.

Till the Yamaha R15 and the FZ-16 appeared!!

The Pulsar 220 DTS-Fi got the first clip ons in India. The initial batches of the P220 FTS-Fi appeared before the RTR 160 was launched. Performance is a different topic altogether.

Yes i agree, but still unlike unicorn, cbz, etc apache still looks a lot like a pulser. And clip ons, 220 fi concept had em. And 150 cc and 160 cc is this really a difference?

the next innovation might come with Honda 250cc..... then maybe companies will invest on proper R&D and bring some good biggies (not importing but manufacturing).....

The concepts of TVS have always been great:

Auto Expo 2004: Chicane & Taurus

Auto Expo 2006: Isotope & Phantom

Auto Expo 2008: (No Motorcycle Concept show, just a couple of hybrid/electric 2 wheelers and one souped up step thru model)

Auto Expo 2010: Hammerhead Quad Concept
