Wow looks good, but it's high time they launch a proper quarter litre class bike
Young riders pick a destination and go, Old riders pick a direction and go !
My best trip till date:http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/tourer/2...uke-390-a.html

Looks great no doubt!!!
BUT where's the spec?? Am sure there must be the details somewhere near the bike. @threadstarter : By any chance you captured that?
I dont mind it being a 160cc if its got 20+bhp @ tap...As at teh end of day Power:weight ratio counts
P.S : Hope it doesn't face the same fate as the TAURAS

Fk! Its such a bad copy of [Insert favourite bike here] it has two wheels, a tank, a tail peice, a headlight, and handlebar. Just the engine is original... oh wait! its 158.x CC engine, so its a copy of [insert your favourite 150cc bike]
Grow up!
The bike looks good to me! Though a semi faired version would look insanely hot on this one!!!!
Is it just me or does that looks like the word Bridgestone on the rear!
Can see Carb, the same RTR160 mill, dual pot discs front and rear (and are they a looker or what!), USD forks, Monoshocks! and nice hot swing arm

Looks good but should have been a 180cc at least(150cc segment has become the new commuter segment!)...anyway hope it makes it to the street!

Well he is saying that it is copying the pulsar. But in what perspective?? They have different top ends, power output & mileage. The apache was made out of the fiero engine (correct me if am wrong).Originally posted by payeng View PostFrom a normal customer point of view.. that has been the case. There wasn't been much innovation in the design.
Till the Yamaha R15 and the FZ-16 appeared!!
Well am talking about the 150cc segment. But AFAIK both apache & P220 were launched at the same time i.e. 2007.Originally posted by payeng View PostThe Pulsar 220 DTS-Fi got the first clip ons in India. The initial batches of the P220 FTS-Fi appeared before the RTR 160 was launched. Performance is a different topic altogether.
Well in that case the GS150 looks just like the pulsar. The only similarity i find in between apache & pulsar is its headlight. Otherwise they are entirely different. The pulsar is more refined, delivers better mileage while the apache delivers better performance & is less refined.Originally posted by REAPER View PostYes i agree, but still unlike unicorn, cbz, etc apache still looks a lot like a pulser. And clip ons, 220 fi concept had em. And 150 cc and 160 cc is this really a difference?

A normal person doesn't look through a magnifying glass.. for him there is one leader for a category (in his mind) and others are followers of the leader.Originally posted by madhav krishna View PostWell he is saying that it is copying the pulsar. For example for a mobile noob like me, "all" Touch Screen phones are copies of the iPhone. The same goes for Business Phones where I consider "all" other Business Phones to be copies of the Blackberry. And it stays with me that way, unless of course I start to get very much involved and start scrutinizing each phone with a magnifying glass.
The P220 DTS-Fi appeared a couple of months earlier (at least in Pune) than the RTR 160. I was looking for a bike at that time.Originally posted by madhav krishna View PostWell am talking about the 150cc segment. But AFAIK both apache & P220 were launched at the same time i.e. 2007.

True...but here at xBhp you would agree we get into a li'l more detailing than normal person who goes out to buy a bike looking for looks and mileage.Originally posted by payeng View PostA normal person doesn't look through a magnifying glass.. for him there is one leader for a category (in his mind) and others are followers of the leader.
OT :
With due respect touch screens were there before iphone too. I used one and was stolenOriginally posted by payeng View PostFor example for a mobile noob like me, "all" Touch Screen phones are copies of the iPhone.
Thats actually a factOriginally posted by payeng View PostThe same goes for Business Phones where I consider "all" other Business Phones to be copies of the Blackberry.
