Thats what I said all the engines are same but the tuning is different. I am not an expert in this but AFAIK car manufacturers sign a licensing agreement with Fiat and need to get it approved from them. Many of the MJD models which are there in todays cars have a cylinder difference. Some have 3 while some have 4.
TATA wont worry that much with the licensing agreement with FIAT as they are partners in India
. I guess thats the reason you see so many Indica Diesel models.
