    wow pjamesmith !!!!

You did wonderful job for both 250s !!!!
Honda CBR250 as well as Suzuki GW250.............as far as exclusive photos are concerned.
You must be a big net researcher that you collect the photos of all tight lipped as well as hyped new launches are concerned !!!!

By the way thank you very much for these pictures :

OMG !!!! I could not take my eyes off her.I wish I get the Indian version of both the bike as well as the beautiful lady adorning it by the next year

However, the power figure resemblance shown on the spec board is 18.9KW @ 8500 rpm..............which means 25.4 hp @ 8500rpm.
Is it the power calculated at rear wheel without redlining the crank figure ?????
Because 25.4hp for a DOHC parallel twin seems to be on the lower side for a 250cc,though it pumps a torque of 24Nm @7000 rpm which is very high in rev counts.
As a comparable unit I hereby update the Ninja 250r DOHC parallel twin's figure : 26.4 hp at rear wheel and 31.56 hp @11,000 rpm crank, while the torque produced is 18.4 Nm @ 9750rpm.

So does it means that GW250R is the faster accelerator here though with an okay true top end of around 155kmph ???

Also in China motoring circles, the bike is speculated to be priced around 20,000-25,000 Yuan...........which translates to INR 1,35,437 to 1,69,298.The launch of this bike is speculated to be around April 2011 in Chinese and all the Asian markets.China alone would be helding the biggest production facility of this motorcycle for cheap manufacturing costs !!!!

        ^^^ yeah right ! !
A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels, scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

Suzuki pulled the wraps off the baby B-King motorcycle at the 2010 CIMA exhibition in China late last year...

To be marketed as Suzuki GW250, the baby B-King is packed with a two-cylinder 250cc 4-stroke liquid-cooled engine, capable of generating 26 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and 4Nm (3.69 lb.ft.) of maximum torque at 7,000 rpm.

4Nm of Torque is not correct news for a 250cc bike.

It actually makes 23.8Nm of Torque@7000rpm.

Yes, 4Nm seems a BIT too low for a 250cc bike....

~25 hp from a 250 twin...seems a little underpowered. Especially when a single is making the same kind of power and slightly lesser torque at the same rpm's.

This engine must be a bit detuned. Plus its heavier than the 165 kg Cbr.
All the same, I'm waiting for this bike, should it launch here.

well the pricing is gonna tel everything...
if its even near 1.5L then its not gonna sell....CBR non-ABS will eat away almost all the sales....( india is a fairing loving country ) naked bike with similar power and price will definately be looked down in front of the CBR

I dunno what is wrong with Suzuki's styling department, especially on the smaller bikes, they just look horrible, the slingshot, zeus, heat etc.

The CBR has got a big big advantage as it is gonna be manufactured locally, if other companies need to compete with it than they have to also start manufacturing it locally.
