yep its 1435mm, its longer than the superbikes(1000cc) too..but for an average stature guy the sports bike posture doesn't matter too much for a difference of a few inches in hieght. I mean to say, when the rider crouches down and the wheelbase is somewhere around 1400mm, almost everyone fits in well.Originally posted by jigsaw91 View Post

i checked indian hyosung website and red-black combo colour looks gorgeous.....mine will be reb-black....
i checked various online reviews and various youtube videos....
0-60kmph is about 4 secs
0-100kmph around 9.5 secs
top speed of 203 kmph
good enough....
she looks good, handles good, but braking needs improvement, turns well into corners, but build quality is average and if you look at it from top the fork top end where it ends and is bolted ....that plate is huge and ugly...check out youtube videos...otherwise nice package...pricing is the main concern.
if we import it from US, how much duty we have to pay. it costs arouond 6000 dollars there. can anybody tell us how much tax we have to pay??
will it be cheaper than 5L.
also, if i tell my friends over there to purchase it for me and get it registered there in his name and when he comes back after two months he brings it here and i transfer it in my name....now how much are we talking in port clearance or other duties??

6000 dollars + 110% Import Duty = 270000 + 297000 = 567000 + Road tax nd Registration + Insurance..............U can imagine how much it will beOriginally posted by princesirohi View Postif we import it from US, how much duty we have to pay. it costs arouond 6000 dollars there. can anybody tell us how much tax we have to pay??

Things arent that simple.
Bikes less than 800 cc have to be homologated.
That means less import rates.

thats absurd man......we should start a campaign ....110% import duty must go......Originally posted by changky27 View Post6000 dollars + 110% Import Duty = 270000 + 297000 = 567000 + Road tax nd Registration + Insurance..............U can imagine how much it will be

hate the yellow decals.. the white bike with black/gray decals in the garware site looks cool.
someone previously said it does 0-60 kmph in 4 seconds. 4 seconds ????? My zmr does it in 3.7 !!!!!!! shouldn't that be 0-60 mph in 4 seconds ?"Power, Beauty and Soul - quintessential elements for automotive perfection" - Aston Martin

My views on the YZF-R15 V2.0: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/news/198...tml#post699240
The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

1) stock ZMR can never do 0-60 in 3.7 and i m talking about Stock ZMR.Originally posted by abhishekk89 View Posthate the yellow decals.. the white bike with black/gray decals in the garware site looks cool.
someone previously said it does 0-60 kmph in 4 seconds. 4 seconds ????? My zmr does it in 3.7 !!!!!!! shouldn't that be 0-60 mph in 4 seconds ?
2) only stock indian bike that claims to do a 0-60 in 3.7 sec is P220.
3) Hyosung GT650R 0-60 figures i gave was what i calculated from a video on facebook. it could be faster, but a more powerfull bike does not neccessarly mean that it should have very fast 0-60 figures, more importantly teh acceleration and pick up is available in entire speed range i.e. power is distributed properly and is available throughout the rev range...b'coz if u think it teh way you were thinking...then ..
YOUR ZMR (225 CC) = 3.7 SECS
THEN NINJA 250 SHOULD BE SAY 2.5 SECS
A GOOD 500 CC SAY 1.5 SECS
SO ....A NICE 1000 CC BIKE SHOULD DO 0-60 IN LESS THAN 1 SEC...
IT DOESN'T HAPPEN THAT WAY...
Thanks for that....very good info....Originally posted by tibby View PostThis one should help: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/pit-stop...ologation.html
