They are free to manufacture anything without hampering the economy. It can gather around 1500 units/ year or so, provided its a decent attempt at marketing (Product/ Price/ Place/ Promotion).
I believe the government and the companies are at 50-50% fault, the reason why we don't get great bikes here at acceptable prices. Don't levy it entirely on the government.---

infact our govt's definition of CKD just took a U turn....
