have u all forgotten that Honda's largest selling bike has been a Honda Cub 50cc? correct me if i am wrong?

HH has done a right thing with the passion!

I am really interested to know that how many of you performance enthusiasts have gone for R15 since its launch???
Brother why are you getting so irritated. You got the xbhp forum wrong.Hero Honda gets a stick at these forums bcoz there is nothing new except sticker jobs on their trusted bikes.
How about a 100ccfi engine or a 100cc monoshock? I guarantee you it would be praised here at least more than you expect.
HH also had not done justice with its superbly performing ZMA or the CBZ.
Hunk is a really good one but after a long time.HH has attracted the disinterest of the enthusiasts by themselves.
HH still aspires to be counted as a performance bike maker-reason...................Their most glamorous ambassador Hritik is seen always on the ZMA.ZMA is highlighted as the flagship and not any 100cc bikes.....................then why such ignorance for upgrading their performance machines??
Honda purely dictates Hero Honda. The company cannot make new engines but only decorates the body housing those engines from Honda. We want innovations for the joy of riding and not jazzy decorations which fades by year ending...............

Moreover for the sake of laughter...................why will performance enthusiast go in for only R15........There are P220,RTR EFI and ZMA from Hero Honda itself in the market!!!!!!!

I am not irritated. I was just making a point about Passion.

Otherwise, you are right about CBZ and ZMA upgrades

They hit the spot with the Splendour, they were able to attract the youth (of certain criteria) with the Passion, and now they even have something for the kiddies!!
Kid: "mommy, mommy i want that bright green toy there"
Mother: "Sweetie that's not a toy, that's a bike for elders like your father"
Kid: "Then make daddy buy one, after i grow up i'll use it"
Father: "Hmm... probably it'll run it's whole lifetime for just one tank full, and i would probably get a phone free with it too"

good creativity HH..keep it up :P

I think the green black/white paint-job is loosely "inspired"
by that of the 2009 z750 (although "power pro" Designers have taken it to the next(lower) level -its garish to say the least)

YEah YEah I know its a crime to compare passion ++ whatever to one of my dream bikes but u know, If the Z750 was a living thing, It would choke to death in its own exhaust after seeing this

But HH does not care as long as it rakes in the numbers...Courtesy of the common commuter populace..In the end its the numbers and profits that speak..

In a country like india one can find more mileage freaks than performance freaks, HH is doing a good job by knocking the doors of these FE freaks.

When you compare the mileage and reliability with other 100cc's splendor/passion takes the cake with ease.

Coming to the point passion is a damn good bike when it comes reliability no matter however you thrash or ripp the bike it still delivers a decent FE.

I am saying the above statement coz i had owned one for 07 long years.

Dude, HH reliability is just a HYPE ... and I'm telling you this after owning a TVS Centra & Bajaj Pulsar for 4 years together...

Just because you have a HH from 80's & 90's doesn't mean others wouldn't exist long!...

It's modern era dude ... Many of us have Purchased Bajaj, Yamaha, etc. and are HAPPY with it ... Why?

Many Xbhpians purchased P220, etc. and still claim they get about 35-40 kmpl, even with some rough riding ...

Last time, I gave the news of new HH Splendor, it was so critisized .. that I don't give "design update" or "HH" news anymore ...

@Samarth: nobody ever said that other bikes are not reliable, but yes, HH makes more reliable bikes, nobody can argue with that. You have to generalize things when you talk about reliability, Ok! You dont pick up one piece, test it and say that this company is reliable / not-reliable. Its global. If I am not wrong, engines in passion and splendor are from Honda's step through two wheelers under 100cc category! And everyone knows that, throughout the world, reliability is second name for Honda. So you see, you dont have to take it negatively for bajaj or tvs when someone says that HH bikes are reliable. HH or Honda bikes are MORE reliable, its a fact

...and, getting an average of 35-40kmpl from a 220cc bike with some spirited riding doesnt mean its reliable!!! As far as my knowledge goes, people will swear by ZMA's reliability (in general) than P220s!!!

@46 greatest ever: i will second what u have said. Till date i have used two bikes and both of those are HH (Passion & karizma) and i can vouch for their reliability quotient.

@rx100.7050: Which part of 46's post is a news for you?

Indeed.. R15 is basically posers' choices.. atleast 95% of it's buyers didn't go in for it's performance, it was it's looks..

Look at the name guys, passion power pro!!! Ha ha ha.. i'm drooling on the floor... the name makes me feel like its a 1000cc monster...

                              @ samarth
Yes bro even i feel the same.. the bajaj and TVS are not that bad on reliablity part but the problem is they dont maintain the same quality over all the bikes which the Hero honda does...
Even i have very good experience with Pulsar and Boxer.. The boxer is still going strong with 70k on stock bore and piston with efficiency of 60+ always..
                              Fun Starts at Redline!!!
