ABS surely is a great upgrade and i would have definately gone for it since on this one, you have the option to turn off the ABS option. Premium is 10k over the regular 180.

IMO, One of the best upgrades on an Indian bike in terms of safety.

Another landmark in the Indian two wheeler market.

But with deliveries of the CBR250R about to start from next month, which one becomes the first to introduce ABS in India..?? TVS or HMSI..??

Anyway, I see it very difficult for most tom-dick-harry (non xBhpian) who usually find it hard to spend Rs. 1,000-2,000 on a decent helmet, opting for a 9K extra ABS variant instead.

If only TVS could provide a real life ride experience of the ABS to the customers like it gave to the journos.

You must be kidding bro!! Forget about providing a real life scoop of the ABS, even today I talked to a TVS showroom here in Gurgaon, and they don't have any clue that TVS is even planning to launch an ABS version of the Apache RTR 180. Hiding facts can be a point but the lady on phone sounded in utter surprise when I informed her about the ABS version. I'm common, it's the biggest and the hottest thing in TVS as of date, how can someone be so un-aware!!

It probably means that, maybe it will take some time for the bookings for the ABS variant to start.

Having said that 10K for an ABS is not bad compared to the 25K (Plus) premium for the CBR250R ABS.

3 Phase DC Lighting + ABS, 10 K more, sounds good, but our desi mentality is such that we will keep on cribbing.

You said it. 10K for the ABS is definitely good value for a life saving feature.

It is more than zma-r. But a good launch for sure and many other manufacturers will follow this trend.

its a good value for money but most of the people in india will compare this version of rtr abs with the likes of p220 n zma-r...
coz zma-r is 84500 on road roughly here in delhi......
