Can't say if they detune it when comes to India, as they did it for GT650R
    Hope they will not.

Man, v twin engine, USD forks, twin discs at front, overall faster-meaner- better machine than 'quarter blade'. I am sold. Hyosung why 1yr delay? Bring it here ASAP.

Twin engine means lesser mileage right?

This is always happening. When one manufacturer enters a segment, others too follow... nice to hear this news... but we dont have that much of patience to wait for the same. Happy with my CBR booked. But waiting time is killing!

Not necessarily according to wikipedia, gt250r fuel consumption is around 3.4ltr/100 kms while ninja recorded 4.59ltr/100kms and cbr250 at 4.1ltr/100kms. Not bad at all for a vtwin 250.

Hey Arun I was wondering how many people in Chennai have booked the CBR250R?

A Dyno graph suggested that the GT250R had some 26.3 PS compared to 26.9 PS for Ninja 250, which is amazing power-transmission percentage.
Even across the rev range, GT was dominating, except in the high rpm's where the Ninja pulled up.

Think of it this way instead of comparing. The hyosung is a vtwin, you get twin discs at the front, size is comparable to a proper supersports machine and that too at an appealing price tag. And again i think vtwins come wit more torque too. I am all sold to the Hyosung

Twin disc's in the front! Gasp..... That is seriously going to compensate for the lack of C-ABS.

How will it compensate in terms of safety?

may be compensations can be made in terms of performance and money value...!!!

I ment by giving more stopping power.... Now that's upto the driver that he does not lock up the front wheel. It won't totally compensate for the ABS but still a usefull addition. I also looked up a few vids on youtube. What I found out is that the bike is really big weighs around 180kgs and seating position is a little cramped for people above 6 feet, though there are adjustable foot pegs as well as the brake lever is adjustable. All this was about the 2010 model not sure if it's the same for the 2011 model. But I totally loved the way it looks, kinda like it better than the ninja.
